Hi, we're Savannah and Lee and we love travelling the world together on cruise ships! I (Savannah) have been travelling on cruise ships since I was 2 years old and have been on over 40 cruises, and Lee is relatively new to cruising, having taken his first cruise in 2022. When we're not at sea, we live in Oxford 🏴 with our dog Scruffy. Lee works in sustainability so this area of cruising is very interesting to us and we're keen to talk about it more, as well as what it's like cruising as young people.

"Is Cunard too posh for me?"

With the recent launch of Cunard's Queen Anne, I wanted to chat a little about a trend I've seen in the cruise community where they hype up how posh and fancy Cunard is as a cruise line. Having sailed with Cunard ~5 times, I wanted to give my honest opinion on whether Cunard really is as upper-class and fancy as they say.

Was that light the night low lights when you get up for a wee
There is a low light in the bathroom that is always on so you don’t need to turn the bright bathroom light on at night which is really helpful. You could also turn on your small reading light by your bedside if you needed help finding your way :)
Gowns are not essential on gala nights. Lots of ladies do wear gowns but also lots of other lengths, most are stunning. The wording that appears on every gala night programme is as follows: [What to Wear: Gala Evening From 6.00pm, we encourage you to join in the sense of occasion with eveningwear of dinner jacket, tuxedo, or dark suit with a regular tie or bow tie, or floor length dress, ball gown, cocktail dress, smart trouser suit, or formal separates.] There are a few venues open to those who don't want to follow the dress advice.
