Hello and welcome to my channel! My name is Mike and I am the CCL Craftsman (Countiss Creations Leatherworks). I make various leather items from knife sheaths, guitar straps, cup holders, belts, bracelets, bookmarks and many other items! I enjoy the quiet time and relaxing nature of crafting things by hand in my home in the mountains of Virginia. Gather up some tools and a nice piece of leather, fix you a cup of coffee (this part is very important) and lets make something together! I'm no expert but, maybe I can inspire you to start leather crafting too!
I made a Leather Knife Sheath
Hello everyone and welcome back to my channel! Today I made a leather knife sheath for myself (It's the first big thing I've ever made myself since I've been into leather crafting). In this video I go through my process of making a leather knife sheath with some new things that I tried. OLD Leather Smith here, nice job, easy 2 follow, great 4 beginners. I have a few suggestions, a few drops of liquid dish soap in the water makes the leather absorb faster and more completely, the paper U get your leather in which is called butcher paper will protect UR board, I use a large aluminum tray, cleans up essier, your knife blade can be stroped or sharpened sharpened 2 B used again and agsin. Suggestions only. GOD'S BLESSINGS ✝️⚾🙃
