How does that 20" radius fretboard feel for chords ? It should be ok for leads and riffing.
@rosskrause3926 it is flat, but I don't notice a difference unless I am playing leads/riffing with it. It does feel different for leads and takes a minute for me to adjust from 10" and 14" radius guitars. I like it personally for both chords and leads/riffing! Very similar to an Ibanez.
Nice amplifier!! I'm really digging mine, such a versatile amplifier. Nice video on the guitar, I'm wanting one because of all the cool color options they offer, but I'm use to playing bigger necks other than my Jackson if I knew for sure that Schecter neck was thicker than the Charvel stuff or Ibanez I would for sure get one. Guess I'll just try one and see how I like it
How do you like the guitar for an all round guitar? I mostly play metal but also like some other styles.
It's a solid all-around guitar, for sure. It sounds great for cleans, mid-gain, and high gain. It does it all! Of course, it is going to have a stratty flavor to the tone because the electronics are loaded to the pickguard, but if that's good for you, then this guitar is perfect, IMO.
I love that guitar. The finish the plastic colors, ebony fretboard, roasted neck… it’s perfect

Awesome review. I absolutely love the NJ HSS. Two things I'd change: HSS Suhr mod from factory and a hotter bridge PU. Beyond that, I love everything about it. It checks every freaking box I was looking for in a strat style guitar

I have not tried the Cort G300 Pro but I really love my Nick Johnston! one of my favorite guitars.

For days I was looking for a demo like this. Thank you.
Just bought one of these and had to refund it due to one of the frets popping out of the fretboard. Multiple other frets looked like they weren't properly set as well. Tone knob was also falling off out of the box. Great feeling and sounding guitar if you can get one that was QCd/built well.
Sorry you had a bad experience with yours! That sucks. Was it an Evertune model or a regular stock HT6?

Love mine. Spot on review and per a commenter below it doesn’t sound like a strat per se but more of a modern tone. On par with USA or Japanese strats in build, sound and playability.

This thing sounds great with gain and in just about any context. Which color are you thinking about getting?

I'm surprised u don't have any white noises when u are using inner coil and outer coil split for cleans. Cuz my HT6 has some white noises
I use an ISP Decimator Noise Gate in my FX Loop even when running cleans. Keeps it sounding awesome!

Doesn't sound anything like a strat. And your hand looks so uncomfortable on the very flat wide fingerboard. But a Humbucking pickup cures all problems!
I have very large fingers so it just makes the fretboard look uncomfortable I guess. This guitar feels wonderful to me though. The humbucker in the bridge on this is just great, It really does cure all problems!

Great review. I'm torn with the 78 humbucker. Compared to my Wolfgang, it is MUCH weaker. I do not notice much difference between it being split and not. But there is something about it like you said, it has great clarity. I might play it a few weeks before I decide on swapping it out.
Thanks so much! It's not a huge difference split. I opted to swap mine out for a higher output pickup but honestly if I didnt swap it and I needed more output, I would just boost it with my Precision Drive.
I have this exactly model and have the same feeling about the humbucker, i feel is not the rigth for this guitar, the split mode is too thin and sharp and the H mode is too thin and compress, and turn off all the shine and splendid "quac" sound that the guitar have, and yes, there is not great difference in split. Incredbly the singles (middle and neck) have more gain.. I`m thinking in change, I dont know yet the replace model but definitly I`ll change it
@@TheStratSound I went back to my trusty Duncan Custom pickup for the Humbucker. Opted for the gold finish as well. Thick punch with clarity.
I'm glad I'm not the only one. I really like the 78 but I find myself really disappointed when I play it right after putting down another guitar with a hotter bridge. It sounds good but I want more bite. Been going back and forth but I may drop in a custom 5, which I haven't owned before.
great review man, do you think the ebony fingerboard makes it sound really dark? I heard some models with the roasted maple fretboard and the cleans sounded much clearer
Thanks so much! It's definitely not the ebony fretboard. I dialed in a rounder, fatter clean sound on my amp is all. The pickups are very clear and have plenty of top end so clarity with this model is no issue at all!

I had color dilemma when purchasing this model. Hard to decide from pics and vid’s as they can vary depending on lighting etc. I went with atomic frost (same as this vid) and it’s stunning in person. Beautiful guitar and sounds/plays amazing.
