That's a nice story. Perhaps, each of us, at some point, will calm the little racing rat within us-the one chasing and running after something, anything. Until that moment, we seem to need a belief or someone, or something we can identify with, along with just enough confirmation bias to convince ourselves it’s real. Meanwhile, we keep projecting our fantasies onto what we call our "spiritual" path (or life path). I don’t claim to know the answers. I’m just a pupil, still learning, still unlearning. This reflection isn’t meant to be an affirmation, only a glimpse into my story-my “spiritual” mask. My journey has been shaped, in part, by experiences with entheogens. Through these, I’ve come to feel, at least subjectively, that life-whether you call it the universe, existence, or something else-is the ultimate shaman, guru, teacher, curandeiro. It dissolves and reveals, not as a concept of “God” but as something immanent. There is no path; we are the path. There is no enlightenment; there is simply what is. And there are no shortcuts because there was never a path to shortcut in the first place. Yet even these realizations feel like something to question, something to let go of. To not cling to them requires the willingness to throw it all in the trash and ask, *"What if I’m wrong?" (I 😱 me, me, me) * What if it’s all just another story I tell myself, another mask? And in asking that, I’m faced with the absurdity of it all-how I’m still a human being, chasing status to feel validated, stuck in a 9-to-5 job, bound by old habits, a cog in a system I barely understand. Delusions within delusions, caught in cycles, and here we go again till we transmute, change inside, or transform all that bullshit. "Or just transcend it and live in eternal bliss. Or just accept what it is. Or bla bla bla..." Perhaps there isn’t a path to transcend but something to witness, humbly, as part of being alive. Maybe the only certainty is that we keep returning to the questions and this transient, body flesh and cognition will vanish away leaving us with nothing at all or just all. And maybe that’s enough. It's hard to rest with "you know nothing" 😆🤦🏻‍♂ So yeah, maybe Paramahamsa Vishwananda is right, Ayahuasca is all illusion, what is real then? What is the nature of reality? Only the Guru knows... the Guru is the path, the Guru is the truth... but... what if the Guru is all illusion too? If the only "real" thing is pure consciousness or the unchanging awareness that perceives all phenomena - Everything else, including the guru and even your thoughts and emotions, are manifestations of the maya (illusion) that veils this ultimate reality? ... I do not know 🤷🏻‍♂

I was Christian now sanatini. I studied all religions and naturally arrived in the most advanced and inclusive sanatan dharm.

Very well researched. Great summarization without going into details, from perspective of bhakti. Unfortunately the translation loses rythm, some of the meaning and emotion of the letters. At start of Guru Granth sahib (2nd and 3rd Stanza), everything is linked to hukam and ego (or haume or ahang) and Guru's grace. O Kalindi ~ I had a similar experience when I met my Gurudev ~ I nearly fainted as I offered my obeisances. He showered me with rose petals. Some time later, I heard that after chanting the Hare Krishna mantra, he would chant , Draupadi … Draupadi… Draupadi which was the name he gave me when I was initiated. ( he had called my soul)
