Dota 2 Replay Analysis - Guardian V Offlane & Hard Carry
Просмотров 16214 дней назад
The last replay analysis for 0-2000 MMR goes over offlane and hard carry positions on the same team and in the same game. I picked a game from the SEA server since so many viewers complain about their difficult matches there. I didn't spent too long analyzing this match since it wasn't requested by anyone in particular. If you have any questions about it or about these roles, just reach out to ...

Dota 2 Replay Analysis - Guardian II Mid

Hey everyone. This replay was submitted by Abhi in the comments section of my last video, How to Improve in Lower Ranks. I wasn't planning on doing such a long replay analysis for one role. The original idea was to try to combine all of the roles into a 25-30 minute video, but I got carried away. Please understand that this analysis is only intended to take lower ranked mid players to their nex...

Solid topic! I hadn't even met a fellow Dragon Quest fan until starting RUclips back in the day. I definitely heard a lot of the Morrowind fans swear by the game and I tried playing it after Oblivion and Skyrim only to be bored out of my skull. Fellow Zelda fan here obviously haha so I was team Link over Cloud in the Ocarina v. FF7 debate in the schoolyard days. A couple other rivalries of note: Mario Kart vs. Crash Team Racing. This only really applied in the 64 / PS1 era but people were adamant each way about the competence of the respective racers. SMT vs. Persona. Almost series infighting, especially since pre-Persona 5, the Persona series was a subtitle to Shin Megami Tensei. The Persona fanbase is tied in with more anime fans so they frequently feel like the louder voice in the room but those who love Mega Ten will vouch for SMT. Gengar vs. Nidorino. Really a stupid matchup but it's made iconic by the Pokemon Red / Blue opening cinematic.
Yeah, I also tried going backwards for Morrowind, and it just didn't compare to Oblivion for me. Maybe some day with cool mods? MK vs Crash is interesting and not one that I heard about. I know that everyone was looking for a kart racer to dethrone MK. I heard people trying to nominate Diddy Kong Racing for the job when I was a kid, and maybe something about "growing up" and playing Twisted Metal? Hard to remember now. Haha, I like Gengar vs Nidorino. Never heard of that one being taken seriously, but I knew exactly where it came from before I finished reading that sentence.
i always found Master chief vs doom guy makes more sense then vs samus since both doom and halo are mostly FPS games where metroid only had the prime series which felt very different for an FPS. FF and DQ makes way more sense then FF vs Zelda OOT. i guess people were like "they both blond haired sword guys so of course they are the same" yeah there are some interesting rivals. also just like with Bethesda games where people debate within their own series. SMT and Persona is a an interesting example where not only do people debate SMT vs Persona but even go as far as Persona 1 and 2 vs Persona 3 onward. i know fallout is similar where the first 2 games are very different then fallout 3 and onward.
Cloud and Link facing off was a product of their two games being considered the best of all time for so many years. It was inevitable that the main characters would be pitted against each other late in all of these "voting tournaments" if they started on opposite sides of the bracket. I'd say they've both received royal treatments since their N64 and PS1 days! Intra-series fighting is always amusing to me. I like seeing people be contrarian and supporting the worst/most unpopular games ahaha.

@TheLegendofLeo ?
Star Ocean Vs Tales is the biggest rivalry I can think of. This was not just the fans, the developers hate each other too. This is a war that has raged on for decades Obviously Tales is the most popular franchise so it often ends up being the winner usually. The only time Tales lost the war was in 5th gen Personally I'm on the Star Ocean side but I'm fighting a losing battle, even though Star Ocean's recent entry is a very strong one, Tales still surpasses it in popularity. But I'm used to being the one backing the underdog. As far as I'm concerned, the only time Tales ever had a decisive victory over Star Ocean was in 6th gen with Symphonia and Abyss There's no doubt that Star Ocean had a decisive victory in 5th gen though as Star Ocean 2 destroyed both Destiny and Eternia, though there are still some people who will argue Eternia is better (which clearly shows their bias). Ultimately though it's kinda an unfair matchup since Star Ocean doesn't get as many games out since tri-Ace are a small developer, Namco are a big publisher with lots of $$$ to throw at Tales.
The developers hate each other too? That's interesting lore. I need to try Star Ocean at some point to see what's on the other side of that battle. I'm in the Tales camp by default.
Some big rivalries that come to mind are Street Fighter Vs Mortal Kombat, Resident Evil vs Silent Hill, Persona Vs SMT and of course Mario Vs Sonic. Back in the day the Jaguar was heavily campaigning their “Superior” graphics against the SNES, Genesis, Sega CD and even 3DO, it’s didn’t last long but it was fun to watch.
I wish I had more exposure to Street Fighter to witness that one. I grew up with Mortal Kombat and didn't see/have much interest in Street Fighter until over a decade later. RE vs SH I heard about. Persona vs SMT is interesting to me--sounds very New-Vegas-ish. Haha, poor Jaguar.
Whoops! I originally wanted to talk about WoW vs. FF14, but it slipped my mind. 🥲
That wasn't a rivalry, that was a straight up beatdown.
does that mean people are going to get mad about not mentioning FF14 just like in the ranking video lol
Future video topic confirmed?
it s been a while bud
Hello! I don't recognise you.
Only 73 hours...imagine.
A lot of AFK farming time while I was painting!
COW-EXCREMENT. Dota MMR's system is broken, doesn't work. Don't waste you precious time on this GARBAGE game.
Too old for professor Layton?! I started on the first game at age 10, 16 years later, age 26, I can’t even get past the 7th puzzle! 😂
Honestly, that first or second puzzle with the crossed cables/strings nearly did me in. 😮💨
I would not recommend dota even to my worst enemy.
I made a follow-up comment about a week ago posting a match where I feel like I took as many as your notes as I could handle in that moment and it never posted but here it is again... the match ID is 8031948564 I don't expect you to make a new video or watch the whole thing, just wanted to give you an update! Thanks a lot!
Tormentor reward not random. Reward goes to teammate with the lowest net worth, unless they already have a shard, then next lowest, etc.
Very close. One of two teammates with the lowest net worths and no shards.
Ah, I listened back. Now I see why you mentioned that. I should have just said “a teammate,” but it’s fine.
They ever gonna port bravley default, bravley second, or bravly lights to switch?
Incredibly unlikely at this point. Maybe if another Bravely gets released on Switch 2, they can consider porting a game or a collection to that console, but it probably wouldn't be worth the developers' time unless they could release the games multi-platform.
The next Dota video to release - whenever that may be - will be how to improve between 2000-3800 MMR.
this is really good advice im trying to get out of the crusader/guardian no mans land and i gotta start actively thinking about the things you explain in this video
Thank you, I'm glad to hear that. What advice stood out to you as the most important?
@@TheLegendofLeo the parts early on about pulling harassing denying instead of just standing there, strategic ward placement instead of known spots thats just get dewarded, the part about being aggressive early and conservative mid game and taking advantage of range vs melee heroes, and just always having mana to cast your spells keeping an blood grenade and mango on you there was a lot i took in this was my first vid that i watched on your channel and you got a good voice for explaining things
@@chrisellersagangsta That's awesome. I'm happy that people are able to digest the info. Time for you to climb!
Thanks a lot for taking the time to do this! I know I played bad during the game and it's really good to be able to see exactly what I could've done instead, my main problem is definitely not knowing what to do when there's not much going on and taking too much of a defensive position when the game starts going bad. Stacking the ancients would've been huge and I really regret my obsession with staying top so long. I don't go aeon disk anymore, I actually prefer blink now, that way I can stand far back and blink in when a fight breaks out. I really have NO idea why I bought a pipe. Identifying that you have kill potential as a trigger to buying blood grenades is a great tip, also I will for sure buy more mangos on Lich now! My question would be, how do I go about placing aggressive wards or wards in places that feel contested? The ideal would be to get someone to go with me (I can barely ever get them to kill torms), but if I can't how do I go about getting a ward somewhere on our side of the map but likely has enemies?
You're welcome! Sorry for stretching the video out for an hour. It sounds like you've made good adjustments already. You'll basically never have anyone come with you on warding missions. The ideal situations come from you following your team into some unexplored part of the map and warding as you go. Aside from the two examples that I pointed out in the video, there's also 37:07 in the video. Bristleback being so tanky in mid is buying you time and space for a river ward to the north. At the same time, you can assume that the space between Bristle mid and Luna bot is free of enemy heroes - odds are they play behind the Dusa, not beside her - so you can ward your ancient area. Or if you went to the space occupied by LD, you could ward the cliff that's on the very top side of the map by the neutral camps. Basically, use the space that your allies and creep waves provide, and try to place the best ward in the moment. And to answer your last question in just a bit more detail, if I can't ward a portion of our half that I suspect has enemies, I just let my team know. I spam a few x pings and keep the message simple: "enemies here. can't ward yet". Beyond that, good luck. 😅
Last chance to submit a lower ranked carry or offlane match ID for next weekend(?). After those roles are covered, I'll be moving on to 2000-3800 MMR.
Good review of strategy. Valuable insight. I'll incorporate this into my gameplay.
Just find the Korok Mask, you don't need any special downloads or bolt ons.
Hi everyone. If I receive match IDs for the other roles, I'll consider doing similar analyses for them. Otherwise, the plan might still be to condense the remaining roles into a shorter video. We shall see! Stay tuned for whatever comes next and for the eventual tips for middle ranked players (2000-3800 MMR).
Great advice. Thank you! ✨🙏💖😁✨
I'm glad you think so. Thanks for watching!
the important question is: how to deal with players in your team who are really less skilled f.e. just finished their 100h unranked and matched up with you. yes it happens to the enemy also often and you win, but happens to you also. or weird picks like legion pos5 etc.
That was part of the reason why I made the point around the 24 minute mark. The only way that you can account for randomness and streaks in this game is by committing to a long grind. You just have to accept the fact that luck will swing for either side, but if you make a deliberate effort to improve your own play, then you should steadily rise in the ranks. But in the meantime, until you can get to higher ranks (ancient+) and can rely more on your teammates, it would benefit you to learn some of the heroes that I recommended. Bristle, Death Prophet, and especially Dragon Knight can stand their ground when outnumbered and can destroy towers quickly on their own. Just don't be so selfish that you miss opportunities for good rotations and teamfights.
thx bro. im spamming axe rn
You're welcome. Good luck!
Hello! I have dropped from crusader to herald and I think I could really use your insights! Please check this game out where I play Lina mid do questionable stuff. Thank you! Match ID: 8014197453
Thanks for this! I'll be sure to include it.
It's up! I didn't mean for the video to be so long and only dedicated to one role, but enjoy the special treatment since you were the only one to submit a replay. 😅
this wont work on SEA...lots of toxic player from herald to crusader
I can't say that I'm familiar with it, but keep on trying your best.
where is pudge pos 1,2,3,4,5?
I've been spamming him as a 5 with pretty tremendous success, but you have to be able to land your hooks. If you want to play him as a core, then play with an aghs + rot build primarily. Pipe or eternal shroud are great items, as are the lifesteal + spell vamp neutral items.
Just use a keyboard
Funny, but people do need help.
8:27 No CM? The Warden of the North will not forget this. Watch your six.
She's a fine pick too! She was the last to get cut from my list to keep it small, because I worried about supports getting out of position with her ult. I wouldn't deter anyone from picking her though.
I doubt that 0-2000 MMR people even care about improving. They are too lazy to read even heroes skills. Or item descriptions. I have seen Parasma and blademail on every hero.
Yiasou. I figured that a portion of players might be “stuck” in that range with no plans on improving - and that’s fine - but I want to help the ones who are looking for ways to climb.
Half of those are impossible in the solo queue.
Why do you say that? Much of the advice was about people being responsible for their own play.
Good job spreading lies upon lies upon lies of stuff that has zero effect and makes no difference.
Are you just having a bad day, or are you always this ornery and unpleasant?
Then go watch something else useless hater 😂
The sociopathic lump of a feces company valve has to pay for its rape crimes in court. They must answer for their crimes. Valve must be legally forced to sell the game to another company that is not as corrupt as valve. Valve is a disgusting corrupt useless company that lets smurfs ruin our games and do absolutely nothing about it. Not to mention the account buyers and MMR trading that is happening in high immortal. If this was riot games, the issue would be fixed in the same sitting. But with valve, they might try to take a look at it within 5 years or so. Valve is a sociopathic company that pits you against 5 high immortal smurfs with multiple VAC bans on record every single time you win and get MVP. This corrupt company must be legally forced to sell the game to another company.
It's evident you put a lot of time into this video, which I can appreciate having also seen your previous contribution. With that in mind: I hope you can understand the good intentions the following constructive criticism was composed with. I'm also very aware of treading the line between educating new players vs. educating established low rank players and how there are unifications and divisions when speaking to each group, so I always leaned towards giving you the benefit of the doubt that you were teaching newer players and at times overlooking established players. I hope that comes across too :) In the process of scripting this video: you allude to the most important aspects of low rank matches at numerous points yet never directly address them in the heavy handed manner that numerous low ranked players require in order to learn the lesson. Those of course being map awareness and tower pressure. It's a common oversight, since higher ranked players innately consider this at all times and are prone to overlooking that low ranked players often don't. You correctly encourage support players to play around their strongest core heroes during the mid game instead of trying to salvage lost lanes; yet you don't emphasise the importance for offlane heroes in particular and mid heroes who rotate poorly to apply heavy tower pressure and only relent once they brute force adequate resistance (to be fair, you mention this with Death Prophet and very briefly with Sniper but it's not specific to just them). You also correctly advise carry heroes to not shy away from using a TP scroll to rotate to a large teamfight, yet overlook that when low ranked players inevitably forget to keep a TP scroll on them and can not connect that applying tower pressure of your own can sometimes be enough to either relieve the heavy pressure on your own towers entirely or force an even (if not advantageous) trade. This equally applies to offlane and mid players when they forget to keep charges of TP scrolls available, or strategically decide to pressure towers on their own to force rotations then counter rotate afterwards to take an advantageous fight. The single most important thing to exploit in low ranks is the lack of discipline when it comes to defending objectives and controlling the map. They will inevitably over or under defend in favour of taking fights that ultimately achieve nothing. It's possible to take a tier 3 solo before the second wisdom rune spawns even in 2k lobbies - they will let players do some insanely illegal things with just a touch of map awareness and pressure. I noticed another commenter got their back up about your advice to mid and carry players not waiting for their supports to ward for them. While I understand and fully agree with where you're coming from in terms of mid players taking the initiative to control power rune vision since establishing vision before the first power rune is something low ranked supports often overlook; you also overlook that in many cases lower ranked carry players arbitrarily decide where to farm and frequently want to farm in locations of the map their team can not physically control (even with vision). This is usually due to lacking the necessary objectives and resources to hold that space and vision adequately, thus inevitably losing that limited resource that could have instead been used to empower the rest of the team to hold space elsewhere on the map that the carry could farm behind. You do well to advise carry players on where to farm based on whether the enemy is in their triangle or jungle; but I'd argue if it's at the point where the outer camps are the only places you can safely farm the game is essentially the enemy's to lose sieging high ground rather than the carry's to win. If I'd had a pass at the script, I would have altered your advice to carry players and instead encouraged them to conceptualise their allied creep waves and their fellow teammates as moving observer wards they can use to farm behind (and emphasised the importance of shoving creep waves when enemies are showing heavy numbers elsewhere on the map then farming neutral camps behind them/when enemies aren't showing as a result). I would have also conceptualised zones of farming and how these zones grow and shrink as your team takes enemy towers and the enemy take yours. Your advise serves as essentially a last resort in the case of an inevitable siege after losing all tier ones and twos - still impactful knowledge to be armed with though and few low ranked carry players will have the gall to correctly farm the enemy side's outer camps. If there are 3 or 4 stacks of observers in the shop: at that point I would give carry players the go ahead to ward for themselves until the supports get back on the ball. By giving this sort of advice to carry players without the necessary caveats, you undermine the direct advice you gave support players and set newer players up for inevitable confrontations by not using their limited resources for a unified goal. Even before support players hit 2k, they are already progressing up the bell curve of "Cliff ward = Bad" and dewarding each others cliff sentries while repeatedly hiding observers out of range. They are also starting to fall into the same issue that 2-5k supports have where they won't reactively cliff ward when a fight breaks out off the back of a smoke etc. If a carry player has not been monitoring the vision game and deduced the habits of the enemy team: they're more likely to actually hinder their own team than they are to help them by warding for themselves. Again, it's another issue to do with map awareness. Again, I hope my words are received with the constructive intent they were written with. I know full well getting criticism on videos you've poured hours into can be a real gut punch. I hope there's some valuable considerations here that you can take with you moving forward :)
Hey, don’t sweat the criticism. I appreciate you taking the time to leave a lengthy comment. I’ve actually tuned into a few of your videos before, and I especially enjoyed the one about the order of item acquisitions. You made some valid points in your comment. In hindsight, I could have expanded/focused on grouping up and attacking different objectives. The goal was not to make a 100% comprehensive guide, but to provide some of the easiest fixes to people’s gameplay that would provide immediate benefit. That’s why so much of the video was focused on individual play. From my experience in playing with or against anyone in the low brackets, they seem lost or uninformed about most things that aren’t their heroes and their items. Taking your point about inferring where to farm based on the information provided by allied heroes-I genuinely think that it’s too advanced for the people who I’ve played with. But still, point noted. I’ll expand on certain concepts in greater detail for the 2000-3800 video. It won’t be a fully comprehensive guide, but a way for those players to begin flirting with the ancient rank, similar to how this video was intended to help players flirt with the archon rank.
@TheLegendofLeo hindsight is one of the greatest teachers in that regard. You learn with every upload and tweak your approach over time. The game is so complicated that the broader you go the more opportunity you create to just never touch on certain concepts. You could easily make 5 videos doing deep dives on each role, but then you're always sacrificing something to try and keep the video a decent length so you don't completely ruin any chance at a decent watch time metric. It's a brutal game on here too :') Appreciate that you've caught our stuff before. Everyone has their own approach based on their experience. Playing on mainly OCE/SEA I've felt the difference in how newer players approach the game on the odd occasions where I'm screwing around playing unranked at off hours here and end up popping USW/USE games with NA and SA players. It can feel like you're suddenly playing a completely different game despite every mechanic being identical. It's a fascinating experience as someone interested in the education space how differently the game is approached and what is prioritised by region. I imagine it again shifts between MENA and EU/CIS servers but they're not even on my region list to conduct research 😂 Keep striving to refine your approach and keep an open mind about what players are thinking about (and consistently not as well!) in each game - you'll inevitably improve with time. Making sweeping assumptions inevitably bites you in the butt no matter how good your intentions were in making it. Also don't be afraid to use your community posts to farm replay IDs when you run into issues with your own. Replay issues are something I've run into when looking for footage in the past too, thankfully since I mainly rely on D2PT for immortal pub footage these days it's eased my issues and I only need to supplement with my own games/demo mode footage when displaying ultra niche concepts. Especially when you're smaller, a tight knit community can be a god send for actually getting pub replays which readily display the exact things you're wanting to discuss.
@@beneaththeveil Yeah, I know what you mean. I used to play a bit on different servers, and there were some clear differences between how people played and communicated. I appreciate your perspective and advice, but I'm not sure whether there will be Dota content on my channel beyond this mini series. The game used to be an addiction for me, and it nearly got that way once more this summer. Playing other games, crossing off titles in my backlog, and making a variety of content was a refreshing change for me. We shall see though! So many people tuning in is almost motivating me to play ranked again and see if I can get back to the top 1%.
Please, DO NOT advice cores to buy observer wards and place them. They are not free, they are a limited valuable resource. In too many games we get cores who buy those, have NO IDEA on how the vision game is played, place the wards in the most obvious places, get de-warded, buy new ones, place them in the SAME PLACE, get de-warded, rinse, repeat. Meanwhile the supports need to rush to buy wards on cooldown to be able to salvage the poor warding. On top of that the same core feeding the wards to the enemy team goes maximum toxic about not having vision. No shit sherlock... No, anyone who main support will not appreciate cores trying to ward, if anything, it makes the game more stressfull.
You made up such an extreme scenario that paints the core as a terrible player and the support as a competent player. There is absolutely nothing wrong with teaching low MMR players to be self-sufficient. What if the support wastes all of the wards or just holds them for 10 minutes without placing them? If a core feels like they can play better with a ward or two in a specific location, then let them do it.
@@TheLegendofLeo I did not "paint" the scenario, it happens with enough frequency as to bother me. On my bracket even supports do not propely ward, that includes myself, I am still working on learning, it does not help when cores start to hog wards and misplace them. Doing so is the equivalent to supports last hitting because they don't trust cores to last hit.
Nah. SEA server full of smurfs. From herald to crusader.
I’m sorry to hear that. Just keep on trying your best to improve, even if they do make it difficult. There were times when pros would drop down to the 5k range back when I played, and you knew right away that they were on a different level from everyone else. Watching their perspectives in the replays helped me learn a lot. Maybe you can do the same thing with the smurfs and see how they win so easily in lower brackets.
What r u talking about. Play better and stop crying. You get equal number of griefer/smurf/manchild with or against you.
Play on eu much better, not a single game on sea goes without toxicity
@@capt.sparrow8898I tried eu east & west. I see same animals like in sea 😂. They do cry & blame things. My expectations turn to disappointment then turn to accept reality. This is dota so doesn't matter what region, animals everywhere.
@@29Kd11-f3l but lot less than sea 😅
u earn a sub i learn quite a few tricks on this vid and i hope i can breakthrough Archon been hard stuck at 1.7K MMR its definitely a me problem at this point
Thank you! I’m curious, what was something that you didn’t know or do already? What seemed like the best tip? Also, if you’d like, I can review one of your matches in the follow-up video. No one’s left match IDs yet 😅
@@TheLegendofLeo probably buying more healing items as a carry, i always thought its a waste of money especially i kinda play from behind most of the time and where to farm if behind
@@SATANisLove-666 Great! That's probably one of the best tips, and something that you'll continue to do as you climb. If you (and your support) can manage to keep creep waves near your tower, you'll also benefit from the tower's 1 HP regen per second.
Can you do Archon to Ancients?
2000-3800 will come next, so it will stop shy of ancient. That plus a video where I give a whole bunch of optimizations should help you climb higher though. Do you have any specific issues right now?
@ I just wonder if every game needs to be different build and at what moments I have power spike (Like for example when Axe gets blink) I'm hard stuck in 2,6k mmr right now, my peak was 3,3k. I watch my demos but analysing my loses I don't see much mistakes i'm making. I can comeback from lost lane etc.
@@MrRihards09 Yeah, you should absolutely have a variety of items in mind for different situations. Sticking with Axe as the example, I would never alter his blademail + blink start, but I'd build either crimson guard or pipe depending on what damage I'm up against. (I enjoy tankier builds and anything that might help my team.) There are also decisions to be made on aghs, BKB vs eternal shroud, etc. I'll think about a variety of topics for the middle ranks video, and maybe if there's something major that doesn't fit - like analyzing your own replays - I'll create a separate video later.
thanks for the vid. Got into dota recently and having a guide like this helps alot.
You’re welcome. I’m glad it could help.
Alchemist was my go to hero for ez mmrs
That's true bro. Pos 4 alchemist was also my Go to hero. Handed out free aghs for all team.
Nice, very unique. I guess the ult just made you unkillable vs most players? What ranks did you climb?
Used to play more when there was no medals, used to help friends account from herald to legend.did reach 5k and didn't play much
@@HandsomeMaq Great job on the 5k.
I would like to humbly request to see how to control the lane with pulling neutrals. Thank you
I’ll be sure to include talk of neutrals in the 2000-3800 video!
8004633553 I def made a lot of dumb mistakes in this game, but I took a 8 year break from dota and only recently really got back into playing. There's a lot of new things for me to learn about now, used to be 3.3k MMR in 2016, now I'm 1.4k atm and looking to at least get to crusader. My main problems as a support are prioritizing what to do next and in this specific game I didn't know about Troll's ult and for some reason I glimmered and thought it lasted longer than 5 sec lol and I should've bought Aeon Disc before Glimmer Cape...
Sorry, I'm just seeing this now! This is fantastic though, thank you. I'll be sure to include it in the next video. I have some ideas just from looking at the Dotabuff page. Judging by the deaths, you did a great job of staying alive compared to your teammates. A force for pushing people away from Troll/after a Nyx stun, or a eul's for lifting Pudge and Troll during their ults may have helped. I'll know more when I take a look.
It's up! Sorry for making it such a long video. I swear, I told myself 30 minutes tops...
wait this is great production value and content for such a small channel good job
Thank you! I had to put in the effort for Dota. The game deserves it.
Hey everyone. The positive response to my previous Dota video, "Now Is a Great Time to Get into Dota 2," inspired me to begin working on this small series of guides. This particular video will be followed up with another where I analyze some of your games. I'll then create another two videos doing the same things for the middle ranks (2000-3800 MMR). So please, if you would kindly help me out and would enjoy the chance of being included in the next video, leave a match ID and your rank in the comments. I think that I'll look at up to 5 replays so that I can discuss each of the 5 roles. If you're wondering whether I'm "qualified" to make guides about Dota, I broke 5000 MMR many, many years ago when 6000 MMR was the peak. I was later placed in divine when ranks were introduced. I haven't played ranked in years, and I only got back into playing casually this year, but I still believe that I have a wealth of information that can be passed on. Finally, this video didn't turn out exactly how I wanted it to. I'm experiencing a serious issue in the client where I can only download around 10% of my replays. I had to scramble over the last few days for footage, so I apologise for using so many demo clips and not as many gameplay clips.
hello there I'm a beginner, I've been having blasts with sven lately and already around 54 hours of played hours, only 46 hrs away from playing rank. hero wise, do you think it's good as a main to carry me through crusader or guardian? or should I expand my hero pool as a safelaner?
@@sleepyyuta112 Hello. Sven's definitely a great carry. You're almost entirely reliant on your ultimate for kills unless you're ahead, but you're basically unstoppable with that and a BKB. Don't take teamfights while both are down, and you should be just fine. If you want to work in a similar hero that's a bit safer, try Wraith King.
Guys do yourself a favor and play Turbo only for fun. No headaches. Or play ranked if you want stress.
Doing the Lord (GabeN)'s work
Man xD When I started playing Strategy Games I was like 4 - -5 and I started with some of the classcis like Command And Conquer, Warcraft 2 and Age of Empires... xd I feel like I started hardcore mode xD
We played the same RTS growing up! I'm really curious to replay C&C with this "beginner-friendly" perspective. I think RA2 might be easy enough to get into.
