Used cloth on my oldest and 2nd oldest. By my 3rd I ended up moving to random and occasional use because by that time I had a newborn, a 19 month old and a 3yr old and it was just too much to juggle (Older 2 had self-toilet trained by then by some miracle). Didn't think I was having any more but as a constantly busy mum I somehow still had my cloth stash 3yrs later. And donated most of them to a local mum literally 2 months before we spontaneously decided to have a 4th. 😂 So grateful for the handful of cloth nappies we already kept aside though. Left us with an easier task buying more. Personally BTP never worked well for our previous kids until they were about 1yr old. And we found everyone worked better with different systems. My 2nd, for example, ended up fitting in her newborn (Up to 6m) ones until she was 14 months old because she was a skinny little bean. And my 3rd was such an awkward shape our then huge stash of loads of shapes and sizes still never had anything fit well. Despite having many years of mostly-successful cloth experience I feel like I've forgotten most of practical use. 😭 Learning again with my nearly 7yr old because they're autistic and special interests include climate change and pollution. So they're amazed by the ways you can raise a baby without harming the planet (And devastated about how much waste people usually make instead). Their Fave part so far is how beautiful they all are, and as the oldest-sibling we're letting them pick out the prints for wet bags, outer nappies, changing mats and so on. Thank you so much for the helpful, informative videos. The ones I watched back with my other children have all vanished. And most of the brands we used have since closed down. Luckily it seems most of the knowledge outside of that has stayed the same. :)
Love to you and the kiddies 💜💜💙 Sheppy’s little smile before bed and both of them hiding under the clothes rack 🥰 Keep on keeping on girl. You got this!
@@katherinewhyte8538 thanks gorgeous, love you 😘
Hi mrs clendon
Laura you are one of the most honest teachers on social media that I follow. You are the only one who doesn't portray their life as a bed of roses..Thank you for your honesty.
@@orlindaalla4618 haha absolutely not my life is shambles 😅 thanks so much lovely, that means a lot 💖
Rosie about the car mess and Sheppy with the basket 😂 bless! Love you all and so proud of you pretty 💜💜💙
They’re such characters 😅 thanks gorgeous, we love you too 💖
Nappies stink
Not really, but the contents can. But that's a given for cloth or disposables given their job...
Do you have any tips for packing/bagging cloth nappies (before and after use) when you go out and about into town?
Yep I pack them in a nappy pod before use, and then once they’ve been used they go into a separate wet bag
Your little ending put a big smile on my face - it’s so nice to see you so happy <3
Awww thank you so much lovely 🥰🥹💖
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I love seeing you too! 🥰🥰🥰
The best part of our holidays 🥰🥰
Can they be used as swim nappies too?
Yep just without the liner 😊
Yay!!!!
Rosie’s little arms when she runs at soccer 🥰 Morgan loved watching the kiddies. He says they’re so cute! Not long now till Justin is down for good 💜
Good luck with your teaching position Laura.I go back to teaching kinder at the end of January next year after 2 years of maternity leave.I have a 21month old.I feel very nervous and a lot of anxiety about getting back to work when I think about juggling everything, the intensity of the job and toddler sicknesses from daycare and Melbourne winter. How do you feel about it?
Harlem, Houston, Quinn, Harriet, Griffin, Callum, Finley, Alvey, Grayson,
I sons named Carson, “son” ending names are sort of out of style in my country, I didn’t like it I had 10000 of other names but he literally looks like a Carson.
Love Ari, jasper, Luca, Rome, Hunter, Teddy, Harry, Henry, Hallie, Annabelle, Posie,Harper, Harlow & Lucy
Dear Laura, I finally caught up to your latest vlog and feel so blessed to have seen your lovely face again. I did get a bit emotional at the thought you would have picked the name Arie for a (possible) next son. Silly me….. Very happy to hear that Paul will be the middle name of this great-grandson to come. Love you dear girl! ❤️
Englanders don’t say “named”, you say “I mn*called…”? 🙂
Cute! I love that you are using your parents names. The kids will grow up loving that connection too 💜
Great names Laura.Thank you for sharing.I called my son Brooklyn but Teddy was also a favourite name.
