In this serial killer documentary, take a look through the events of the Zodiac Killer - a prolific serial killer who terrorized the San Francisco area in the late 1960s.
On the 20th of December 1968, at a turnoff on Lake Herman Road, Benicia, a mysterious man would claim the lives of two teenagers. Unbeknownst to the investigators at the time, within the next year, this would be the start of one of the most infamous unsolved mysteries in the realm of serial killers.

Alot of allens 'evidence' is pure speculation from a single friend who was convinced he was the zodiac and a lot of those claims came 30 years after the fact. I dont think allen was the killer. I think the profile was wrong and the killer was a young man in his 20s recently out of the military or a policeman. The reason he stopped killing being similar to the golden state killer, he got married and became a happy family man.

I believe there's a tiktoker claiming that his grandfather is the Zodiac. His grandfather's name is Richard Hoffman.

There is one thing which rules him out.... He was in ambulance with Ferrin on their way to hospital according to his and other officers report at the time of phone call announcing attack. They left a murder scene in ambulance two minutes before phone call happened. It is possible to assume he faked timeline, but its not reasonable to assume all colleagues would confirm his faked timeline.

Serial Killers almost always do these things in places they are familiar with. Near where Kathleen Jones was abducted was a hotel called Byron Hot Springs hotel, it was a popular spot for a long time. In 1941 the US Government Annexed it and used it as a prisoner of war camp known as Camp Tracy. Eventually the place became closed down and was a hot spot for people going ghost hunting. Through some extensive research I found that Castle Air Force Base was built near by in 1941, so with the Zodiac Killer possibly being in the Air Force and being familiar with this area I realized that he was more than likely stationed at these places. I tried to get a hold of a list of people stationed at Camp Tracy but the files were classified. I even tried using the freedom of information act to no avail. Because with pretty much every POW camp there are questions about what may have happened at the Camp. When you think POW Camps 2 words always come to mind, TORTURE and you guessed it EXECUTIONS. Sometimes soldiers are forced to do the torture or executions, and what did the Zodiac killer often wear? Air Force shoes and an executioners hood, would also explain why he taunts the Authorities, because it was authority figures that forced him to do things. POW Camps are also well known for coded messages, as to hide who they are keeping as prisoners. Sound familiar? Find that list of stationed people at Camp Tracy and you find the Zodiac Killer

I thought they finally caught him. People are fickle about talking about things like this. Even today, with all of the technology. Because a restraining order doesn't protect you from a rifle. Plus you have to worry about them coming after you if they ever got out. I think he changed his mo of killing too through the police off. Which is not uncommon for some. But it's so sad that we don't have any more info now than we did back then.
