VLSI Design Lab Course

This channel features the videos created by students of the EE6350 VLSI Design Lab course taught at Columbia University by Peter Kinget. The students design a custom electronic integrated circuit (a.k.a. chip) in the Spring semester that is fabricated in a commercial fabrication facility during the subsequent summer. They then test and demonstrate their chip in its intended application and summarize their results in a video presentation and a website. The project websites can be found at the link shared below.

We designed, taped out, and tested a custom integrated circuit (IC or chip) in TSMC 65nm CMOS for a low-power hear-rate monitor using photoplethysmograpy (PPG).
