OK... I don't know bout situation before that so I'm not sure is this lady being racist or not. But yes when I still lived in japan(for 6 years) I got treat as gaijin so often. Sometime I speaking Japanese during do some part time job but they still refuse to talk to me and demand to be serve by "nihonjin". My accent might be slightly off. By that time I alr got my N2 JLPT certificate. Fluent but not in native level like N1 They are some nice people but racist people are exist and quite a lot too. I guess the foreigner in the video might talk too loud(which it impolite in some restaurant in jp) or take quite a long time to finish up their meal (some restaurants can't sit for too long because it's small or so many customers are waiting) I will not protecting jp or anything. They are really good at being "Tatemae" . This video need a context

Now, I got the reason why this happen. It seems they didn't pay for the meals they ordered that price was for 2people. But, they just paid for 1. Is this excuse? The translation is kind of wrong. Some parts are missing. It sounds like the couple didn’t listen to her and it made her angry. She said “I told you many time, you are so persistent” I guess that the place was closed and the Japanese lady told them its closed to kick them out but they didn’t listen even they were told many time. I like how this video conviently starts the second they're getting kicked out and not what they were doing before this to get kicked out.
