@ maybe the tempo is very different but the vibe sure fits it really well, heavy and a bit atmospheric with those high pitched screams

Definitely, the chorus is probably fit for that album

It's pretty great, in their top 3 IMO but it's not RTL great Doesn't mean it's not good but not every song is by-the-book perfect

It's good but it's on *RUBBER SOUL* of all albums! It just can't really compare to the other songs on this album

I understand why you think that, it's not like it's bad TBH I'm not a massive Pantera fan but I like most of their albums I just feel like it's overhyped as "Pantera's heaviest album" when it's really just FBD without all the blues stuff

@@PIZZAdayisback it does not sound anything close to fbd, the riffs, the drumming, the lyrics the vocals are way more mature. I’d say some songs on fbd sound rather silly.

And CFH honestly Pantera has at least one corny song per album I'd also say that the vocals barely changed aside from the MLAAAAAAAs and more southern accent stuff The riffs also didn't change much aside from having more technical moments But yes, the drummer should've gotten a 50$ raise for every track recorded on TGST imo

@Ammyfgc I'd say that the title track is also a bit silly just because of the opening MLAAAAAAAAAAAAA and the delivery in the verses, I'd also say that the out of place MLAAAAAAAA (MLAAAAAAAAAAAAA) on drag the waters is pretty funny too That's just my opinion though

Well, how is it NOT overrated? Phil's clean vocals are the worst on it and his screams are a bit whiny, the riffs are a copy-paste of FBD and the bass isn't innovative. The only good thing is the drums. It's way over-hyped just because it's "their heaviest album" when in reality it's just far beyond driven but with a snake on the album cover.

Yeah, it's just not very Pantera It's more like a sludge metal album instead of a groove/post-thrash album

The "MEEP MEEP MEEP"s at the end of the riff, otherwise it's a pretty decent song Also, the censorship is supposed to be funny but I guess it's not obviously a joke

IDK, it's really hard to come up with enough new words and I've been focusing more on music and editing practice I should probably work on some today

Well, I also used a system based on how groovy, melodic, harmonic, and heavy the songs are. I didn't want people to know it's a ranking system because then people might assume I'm saying these rankings are objective. So no, none of my rankings are solely based on arbitrary factors like popularity.

It is a great song but the album has tons of great stuff alongside it

IMO it's a mixed bag but it's definitely top 5

@@PIZZAdayisback I am really in love with that really raw sound of old thrash metal, and Kill em all kinda hits that perfectly. Ride the Lightning hits it, but it doesn't sound as heavy. Anesthesia is Cliff's original bass solo, and without it, we probably wouldn't have gotten his other awesome ass bass solos that followed, but I also know Kill em All isn't really regarded as Metallica's #1 album by most so I know I'm a minority here.
