Unity is very well optimized. Add that to the game optimizations made by the dev and you have something that runs so well it could be on mobile.

It's way too drifty. And the annoying thing is that despite this it's still among the fastest cars on almost every stage. I guess it's just the way this game works with drifting being the fastest way to drive on purpose.
