I took my mother to see a live performance of this she laughed and she cried. It's such a beautiful story.

me & my mom (my best friend) when we watched this at the movies when it came out, my mom said a mother should never bury a child...i was with my mama on her death bed, singing her songs as she passed on, hardest thing i ever did and the thing i am most grateful for...that i was w/ her and she did not die alone!!! this is a classic w/ so much big talent
