This blows.They took all the character out of the song and made it sound like a boring arcade fire song. All their songs sound the same.

Wasn't Jerry Lee Lewis on right after Waits,. If this is the show that I'm thinking of my cab rolls up up to the front entrance of shoreline just in time to hear the MC say " How about a warm round of applause for Tom Waits ladies and gentleman". I was so hungover that day I couldn't get out of bed. Metallica was awful, although I did feel bad when everyone started walking to the parking lot during there performance.

One of my favorite parts of Carrie Brownstein’s autobiography was when she discussed she and Corin meeting Eddie Vedder outside of a S-K show at the Crocodile in Seattle. Eddie told them he felt like he was standing next to Jagger and Richards. He was genuinely star struck, and who could blame him? :)
