سٹیویا کا پودا جیسے کہ پودینہ ہوتا ہے اسی طرح دکھتا ہے۔ اس کے پتے بہت میٹھے ہوتے ہیں۔چینی کا بہترین نعملبدل ہے۔ سٹیویااپنے میٹھے پتوں اور صفر حراروں کی وجہ سے دنیا بھر میں جانا جا تا ہے جوقدرتی طور پر یہ پیراگوئے اور برازیل میں پایا جاتا تھا لیکن اب اسکی کاشت پاکستان میں بھی شروع ہو گئی ہے
