    I am using the exact same yarn and just can't get the placement down when you being the two knots together, so I end up with too much old color so I'm finishing the last strict and chaining 1 before the knew colir is there and the knot just will not go through the stitch. It almost looks too big but I'm using the same yarn.

    • @helmsfamily
      @helmsfamily 2 месяца назад

      Hmm don’t finish the last stitch of the row all the way measure that point to put the knot of the new color. Undo the last stitch and push that knot up about an inch. Then tie the other color on an inch below. Make sure they are nice and tight then pull together. Hope you can get it! Definitely takes some practice.

    I sorta feel like maybe the more flexy the fabric is and the more open a stitch pattern is the less yarn it actually uses. SC and Bobble are so dense, but DC and V stitch are flexier and move easier, even stretchy a bit. Id be curious if this trend spreads to more open stitches like TC 🤔

      HI LInda. The yarn in the thumbnail is Caron simply soft that calls for a 5mm hook. The yarn in the demo is Lion Brands Hometown yarn that calls for a 9mm hook but I use a 10mm in the demo. Hope that helps! Thank you for watching. 😊
