You know, I like the general idea of this video. But, for something I just put on for noise, the frenetic clicking around and dropping in commentary to fill the time misses the mark for what I was seeking.

Yeah, judging by the massive shutdown field pulse and what sounds like a thargoid grunting through the phsyicic connection of a ship, and the massive vague shape in the core of the cloud, I can say it is a thargoid mothership.

Is it possible that the planet changed with odyssey?

Ok… Capitol Ships are cool Capitol Ships on the surface of a planet… that’s awesome. It’d be so cool if there was an event that can occur where it’s a Frigate that’s being attacked by Thargoids, and is then moving along the surface as of it we’re trying to run from them. Imagine that!

The slideshow near a planetary settlement is killing me. Now I know where I shouldn't go with my Recommended PC specs :)

I like how the community collectively decided the best way to approach the maelstrom was to try to collide into it at mach 2 lol.

Now that we know capital ships can sit above ground installations, it would be cool to do missions where you either have to drive one off or help it take over the base.

the problem with this whole event however is it doesn't matter if you kill 0 or 10000 thargoids it changes nothing in the overall outcome of anything.
