ha! Well in fairness 50% of people in Naples in the winter aren't Floridians.

I would suggest taking a trip to Naples first and get familiar with the area, climate and lifestyle. I don’t know the lifestyle of Vegas outside of the city but the biggest thing in my opinion is figuring out if your lifestyle and what you want to do for fun ( boating, beach, dining, golf etc) fits what you’re looking for. And if you decide you really like it, then call me and I can walk through different areas with you depending on what you are looking for. But even if you want to move in a few years I would start the research now.

Naples Bay is a great resort!

Waterside is so pretty. You cant go wrong visiting there.

I'm glad you enjoyed it here so much, but I do understand about the heat and CA has PERFECT weather depending on which area you moved to. In the last few years since we had an influx of more full time residents there is more that happens all year round. All that being said, I think snowbirding is the way to go!

Oh I just meant that when you move to Florida all of a sudden your northern friends will be calling more to visit you ! :)

That's definitely happening now. Couple it with the fact all the condos along the beach had some sort of damage from Hurricane Ian it makes for a bit of a mess. Plus I'm finding now no one wants to be on the first floor, prior to Ian everyone wanted to be on the first floor.

LOVE BUGS! We have a love bug season in the spring, where the bugs attach together and then get all over your cars when driving.

Hi Jim, It's actually called Celebration Park, it's an outdoor food truck park off of Bayshore Drive in South Naples. So if you head east from downtown, it's the road just before Airport Pulling Road and close to the Naples Botanical Gardens if you know where that is. They have boat slips, you can bring your boat there. An outdoor bar & seating areas and food trucks. It's very cute.

I agree! Nothing beats Naples. Its fun to visit other places around the world but our weather, food and people make it the best place.

It depends on where you're from. November it can get chilly for 2 weeks. Too cold for me personally to swim. Others from up north still don't mind it. The good news is, theres no shortage of heated pools in Naples!
