Our grandfather Ernest Marvel a Veteran of WW2 45th Infantry division, 3rd Army under General George S. Patton. Helped liberate the infamous Dachau Concentration camp. Ernest was awarded a host of medals which include 2 bronze star, 1 with citation and a Purple Heart along with many more.
