Easter Soup: The Best Recipe For Your Holiday Table
Looks good to me. Lil cooked a pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving. She used a white pumpkin. It was interesting. 😮
I would like to try that
Hi guys.😊
Hey glad to see you back on here
I would definitely try it. 😊
It was so good 😊
I've made it this far.😊

You forgot a massive amount of sugar. That's what people like.
No!!!! That is what the carrots are for 😂 thanks for watching
Chicken? CHICKEN?!?!? that is my exit, no damn chicken in Chili!
@@caseyforster4613 I normally use beef but I could not afford it this year. The chicken was only $.79 a pound. I’m not back by million dollar corporations like the other competitors are.
Some good ole boys chili looks fantastic fellas.
@@tjhanlonjr thank you for watching. It did turn out really good. Have a great smoky flavor.
You call that chili,Jimmy!
@@henrymaziarz852 when you’re not back by multi million dollar companies like the other competitors were and you have to make 35 gallons on a budget you do what you can And if you are referring to it having beans in it, it was a requirement since the cookoff was sponsored by bushes beans
Great video!
Thank you our next one will be from NC
@ lookin’ forward to it! 👍🏻
That's a mighty big pot you got there!
@@sandydial1833 I love my big pot! Lol
The best chili at the cook-off.

It’s still full of debris
They have been working hard trying to get it cleaned up. I hope they get it done soon.

That sounds amazing. I would love to try that. Thanks for watching.
Bless You for The Happy memories I'm from NZ we caught possums for fur & would eat the Does as the bucks were a little stinky My Dad would serve us deep fried Hind Legs dipped in breadcrumbs Fried in peanut oil & served with sweet pineapple sauce and shoestring chips Thank you for your Recipes

I don't believe oppossoms eat anything bigger than a frog!
Possums are opportunity eaters and have been known to fed on roosting chickens
I came over from Carpetbagger channel....but I can't subscribe. Possums are very good for the environment. I don't believe they were the culprits. I'm not vegetarian but....just made me want to cry.
Well, thank you so much for coming over and giving our channel a look. I apologize that this video bothered you. It’s not what our entire channels about however i volunteer with the forestry service and other agencies for wildlife conservation. I am an animal lover myself, but populations need to be controlled and folks in the Appalachians mountains and the south have been eaten them for years and their numbers are great. There are no Regulations and limit on harvesting possum because of their huge numbers and prolific breeding. I never harvested any wild animals beyond the regulated limits or out of season. I am a very strong advocate of the hunting and fishing laws and regulations possums are also known to kill chickens that are on roost. Just wanted to make you aware I am very well studied on the benefits of wildlife and the importance of controlling there population in a healthy way. we have a lack of predators that would do this naturally we no longer have the native wolf and other predators species, but we let nothing go to waste and use it for food. Just thought I would share a little insight. Thank you for watching.
He's right, People eat them down there regardless! I caught one in a box trap about 40 years ago, I let it go cause I was wanting rabbits. I even caught an armadillo too, some people eat them as well!
Hope you had gloves on when you cleaned that greasy opossum
They actually weren’t greasy at all. I’m not sure if it’s just because we had warm weather and they wasn’t fatty yet or what but they were delicious.
I would of ate it. Always wanted to try it. Looks real good.
If you ever get the opportunity, don’t pass it up you won’t be disappointed. Thanks for watching.
it looks so good😋
@@isabellacronan9741 thank you for watching
It was delicious!

It really was a great stew!
It really was!
Everything crazy hillbilly cooks is good

I learn a lot from my Granny I miss her and her cooking. Thanks for watching
😊
Good job boys! 👍
Thank you for watching 😃
Thanks for watching!😊
I've never eaten Opossum, but I have eaten Racoon before. ❤❤❤✌✌✌
This was the first possum. I’ve eaten in many years couldn’t quite remember how it tasted but this was very good. Thank you for watching. Stay tuned for more videos.
I've never had racoon, they better stay out of the yard!
Yeah, they kept calling me out about not eating. The possum just doesn’t seem like my thing now I do like raccoon
Great job on the cookin', Looked like yall enjoyed it. BIg ole thumbs up from us!
Thank you so much for watching. We absolutely did enjoy it. I am currently working on a squirrel catch cook and I have some traps out for groundhogs not sure which video will come first but hope you stay tuned to watch.
It was really tasty!
That man enjoys anything he can eat
Sure do
That's not how you set a leg hold trap. You set the traps and place the bait in the middle of the sets. What you have killing your chickens is a coon as they will reach through and grab a chicken where a possum just bites them when they get close enough.
Dang all that looks amazing good job. Where yu get that bog ol cooking thing the woods in ? I need one of those.
Thank you so much for watching that big ol cooking thing I used is called a cowboy fire pit grill. There are several different brands. I am working on getting a affiliate link through Amazon for one. I can send you a link as soon as I get it set up.
@crazyhillbilly that would be great thank you, and I'll be watching for more awesome cooking from ya.
Thanks for your lijes and comment!
If cooked in cast iron it’s usually good!!!

Give you a like just because this is the most unusual cooking show I've ever watched. I'd try it.
Thank you so much for watching and the like stay tuned for more. We got plans to do squirrel groundhog, raccoon and many other unusual delicious meals. And some great adventures.
I probably should have tried it
Yes you should have
Did you trim the fat off them. they are hog fat here. have ate koons and skinned a lot of possums but never cooked one. looked good and you have some pretty decent knife skills
No true trimming the weather has been very mild so very little fat on these. Thank you. And thank you for watching 😀
Thanks for leaving a great comment!
I thought I was going to get to see you hunting the opossum...lol
Possums aren't hard to hunt, they just kinda show up. I had to chase one out of my campers a couple weeks ago!😅
I have never tried Possum but I hear it is better than koon........awesome video I really enjoyed
It’s been many years since I’ve had possum or coon until this one. It was very good. We are going to get a coon soon and try it out. Thank you so much for watching. We’re learning and trying to make better videos. We had a little bit of audio problems with this one butwe are working on it.
I've never tried racoon before, but I am willing to try!
Got more views than my turtle soap
Thanks for watching. Hope you enjoyed.
We were thinking if doing a video on turtle chili!
Although the opossum holds a special place in my heart, it was a good video. Looking forward to a Crazyhillbilly dish soon. We hope your crew can make it back to Ohio.
Thank you hope to see you guys
That possum held a really special place in our bellies!😂
That was harsh David.
@@overthehilloutdoors7174 It was harsh, but the chickens and ducks might disagree! 😆
Great video and even better possum stew! 😁
Can’t wait to get another one
The veggies look delicious! I've tried a few things that I even surprised myself but I just don't believe I could do the possum. Bon appetite boys!
Thank you so much for watching and your support. I think if you ever work up the nerve, you would be pleasantly surprised by possum but the veggies are great. I highly recommend trying the North Georgia candy roaster squash.
@crazyhillbilly that looked really good. Also added beautiful color.
@ it’s very versatile you can use it for savory dishes and for dessert kind of like butternut squash
It's really good you should give it a try!
