If you believe that Paul changed the way we worship the Father or how we're saved, then aren't you making Paul your god and worshiping him. There is only one Law giver and that's the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Since the Father never changes this means that everyone who has ever been saved has been saved by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8). When we apply this to Noah for example, we see that the Father's grace are His Instruction to Noah warning him of the impending destruction of the world and how to escape it, which we know as the gospel. We're told that Noah believed the Father and his faith was able to overcome what he believed in order to place his faith and trust in the Father and in doing so he did everything just as the Father commanded him. Noah didn't add to, nor take away from any of the Father's Instructions and as a result he was saved. If Noah didn't believe and place his faith in the Father by following His Instructions, he too would have perished. This understanding comes from the Hebrew word, "Sh'ma", which means to hear AND obey. What good would it be to know the truth but not walk in it? This is the simple understanding that James is trying to communicate when he says: " You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone." (James 2:24).
