LibriVox recording of Mr. Spaceship by Philip K. Dick Read by Phil Chenevert The war with the Yucks from Proxima Centauri was claimed to be a stalemate but they were really winning. The mine belts they laid seemed to propagate themselves and were slowly strangling Terran planets. How did they do that? What was their secret? The answer was baffling and the best human minds could only conclude th...

What they need is something unpredictable, what they get is Thomas Cole, a m...

Brilliantly read! Loved it.
Well we all no Russia sucks that story aged well😂
King
8yrs no comments well 1st all right and 3rd like guess i made it right on time 😂
Stay
I admit that I usually choose HorrorBabble when listening to Lovecraft audio books, but this interpretation of old Zadok is PERFECTION! 👍👍
This is mesmerizing to the ears
I do like it, but the accents are Southern, or frontier western, like a cowboy movie as opposed to New England.
😊😊😊
My time st slide my mind into slow down mode to peaceful rest
I've been watching your videos for years, but now YT is preventing adblockers from working and making YT customer services even worse; in short I will be quitting YT and unsubscribe from every one using ads.

Likely my favorite Lovecraft story, right next to Mountains of Madness.
Was the meaning of "mene mene tekel upharsin" (number number weight division in Babylonian) not known to the people of lovecrafts time? I know Akkadian is much more spoken now than it was in the 19th century, but I thought that bible scholars knew of its meaning before that.
Ah Mike, just no.
1.25x still feels slow
Mike Bennett really made these stories sing
Narrator deserves an award. I completely agree with what wmnoffaith said. Incredible!

What kind of New England accent is that??? If you can't do one don't try.

Thank you so much! I has been years and years since I read this one. Thank you. Liked and subbed ❤
Hey, isn’t current Chicago mayor from there?😊
Again thank you!!
Mr Bennett, thank you for putting as much emotion into this story as you did. It was amazing!
Oh wow, the reader really delivered at the end! I highly recommend this.
Zadoc Alen was wonderfully portrayed. The whole thing was very well read! Thank you!
Great reading . Thanks, one critique however. Mrs Hudson shouldn’t come across as cockney ! If anything , hint of Scottish . ❤
"Under the sea, under the sea, There'll be no accusations, Just friendly crustaceans, ... Under the sea." -Homer Jay Simpson
I like this narrator.
This guy was and always will be a privileged snob and bigot....
Look at bethesda .. and st mary's infirmary in ports mouth was no different both naval mental institutions. not so fictional is it as for the abandoned grottoes underground there is evil
"Old man Marsh" Never gets old! Stellar narration!
I love how the idea of a drunkard from H.P. Lovecraft's time had a larger vocabulary and was much more well spoken than your average young adult today. I find is simultaneously amusing and disheartening.
Convincing acting, I agree with others, but completely wrong accent! The New England accent is pretty distinct, this is a southern accent.
Thanks for sharing the Lovecraft valt, and the narrator's read was dead on.I looked through your list and found many books that were just up my alley, again thanks for sharing.
THIS PERFORMANCE IS JAW-DROPPING!!!!!!!!! I HAD CHILLS AT THE END!!!!
At the end of what ?
This is amazing I'm on edge @ the hotel escape part!!!!
I have to say I'm very disappointed that after 8 years this channel still has only 8000 subscribers. I, for one am very much appreciative that someone took the time to upload these stories narrated excellently by Bennett. How entitled are we that we find such gems on social media without giving them the kudos they deserve. Thank you for providing us with this channel.
