@@1219magnum Thank you! It's actually the same as a manual 18 speed, but with electric motors that activate the clutch and move the shifting forks. There's a small computer mounted on the driver side of the trans.

@peg3085 Yes, I agree. But, college students and low income families are some examples of who Dash is targeting. Most people shopping at Wal-Mart aren't going to spend the money on stainless steel. They can't keep these cheap plastic Dash products on the shelf in my home town!

@PrabhjotSandhu-tm9yu Yes. We have a fleet of around 150 of these trucks and it's not all that common around 300,000 miles doing gravel hauling. We run up to 164,000 pounds so they get worked hard!

@@ciaranmcmanus3840 No not always 4 on each trailer. We have a few different axle configurations in Michigan. 4 and 4 with that axle spread is called a Super Train. We also have 3 on the front trailer and 5 on the rear, which is called a Triple Ten setup. Then there's a newer configuration with 5 axles on the lead trailer and 3 on the rear. We call that a 5 and 3. In total, we are allowed 11 axles. The difference in spacing between axles allows for different weights.

Watched the Soft White Underbelly video about the recent trailer fire. The area looks unaffected by Hurricane Helene. It took a left turn through Asheville North Carolina and did a number on East Tennessee. West Virginia appears to be unaffected.

I just wash the insert and lid with dish soap and water and it comes out fine. I use mine alot. I also put it in a shallow bowl as it sometimes overflows and this saves a messy counter.
