sir one weird question....i got air1600 in neetpg 2024...im getting md radio in my state with 60k stipemd and jaslok dnb falls around my rank...only thing am conceerned is cost of living in jaslok with 90k stipend ...am the sole earner of my family of 4 ,will cost of living eat away my salary at jaslok or shud i take md in my state with less cost of living ,,,??

You can try getting AIMS Dombivali which is near Mumbai. Or else some hospitals and south usually have lower cutoffs compared to Mumbai

Sir I got Rank of 4300 this Neet nd I'm in stuck in similar situation. Please adv me if I should get MD Radio from peripheral gov clg in UP or Gujarat or rather go for Dnb radio(I will not get Dnb radio from top institutes either)
It all depends on how much you can tolerate the conditions in govt colleges. If you can, get an md institute near your home, otherwise a decent dnb would be the same too. Both the degrees don’t make a difference in the long run.

Hey! I am sorry but I am not very aware of Apollo’s dnb radio, I have heard it is good though. It will be better if you try to speak to a resident who is working there for a crisper advice.

My rank in 1941. I might get md radio in my state. Although the hospitals have ct and mri machine I have heard that they frequently stop working. Should I go for those colleges or dnb. Also can I get dnb in delhi/mumbai? Also can u share the fees, stipend, accomodation expenses?
Dnb is nearly at par with an md if done from a good hospital. And in the long that also will not matter if you very good at what you do. Apart from that take a govt college if you will be able to survive in the conditions provided in a govt setup (endless patients, poor accommodation and other basic amenities), otherwise go for dnb. And yes you will get dnb hospitals in mumbai, but I don’t think in delhi. Fees is fixed 1.25 lac/annum Pay is at par with govt- 86-90k Accommodation is provided by atleast our hosptal at 750-2500 per month

I lovvee studying Medicine, always wanted med even before I learnt what it is actually But taken aback by the working conditions even if 1 saal ki baat ho since Govt institute se ug kiya hai Ive seen it I've similar rank as yours is 1.2k Resident of Mumbai hu and DNB Med soch rhi hu now My friends and family are like youve always been a good student toh kyu DNB, MD kar le.. thoda challenge yourself 1 saal ..but is it really worth any challenging or needed even when Im feeling this strong aversion already If I chose DNB med over MD l, will it really be a compromise?
Congratulations for this amazing rank! See, I understand your feeling, but doing a dnb in any hands/ clinical subject will be bit of a compromise. Unless you have acquired all the basic skills in your internship from your internship in govt college then it is fine. But again for subjects like med and surg, practical is the most important part and that will be very good in a good govt setup. So I would still prefer an MD for medicine, but if you are not getting an md college where you won’t be able to survive because of the working conditions then only go for DNB and that too only from Gangaram Hospital. Hopefully you get my point

Sir, i am confused between dnb radio or md medicine as there is very slim chance of getting md radio in any good college. What do you suggest to go for. I am flexible to adapt in both branches.
It depends upon whether you like patient interaction or not. Radio requires a lot of reading but relatively less chil chik of patients. Baaki it is a clinical branch itself so workload will be high only in a good college
