Filling In A Pond Phase 1
Просмотров 1,7 тыс.4 месяца назад
Land owner is ready to do away with his pond. During periods of no rain the pond gets stagnate and the water quality is low. Water is now provided by other sources. Probably should have drained water first but time was short and we decided to try just pushing the water out with the dirt. Works ok but it would be better with water out first. Second phase we are going to drain pond and grade area...

Heading up to New Jersey to pick up passengers. I am going into Morristown today to see how flying in there compares to Teterboro as far as traffic is concerned. Thoughts? Morristown was easier to get in and get service as compared to Teterboro due to the lack of traffic. A little more relaxed atmosphere at Morristown. Also I think leaving Morristown is easier since it is located on the outskir...
Finishing Beaver Pond Dam Complete With Culvert And Spillway
Просмотров 2,3 тыс.7 месяцев назад
First trip we busted the dam and drained what we could of the pond. The next trip we started installing a culvert but didn't get to complete it and the rain washed the dirt from around it and caused the upper end to float up. So this trip we completed the culvert installation and put in a spillway.

New Homemade Ripper For Kubota KX080 | Meet Luke (aka Operator Extraordinaire)
How did you select the specific model? I assume they all work with any topcon laser model. Some of them I've seen also come with a cab receiver did yours come with that or is that a separate item?
I bought that receiver because it was a Topcon and I thought it might work better with the Topcon laser vs another brand. Also I liked the display. It’s easy to see from the cab. Bright sunshine makes it more difficult but still you can see it. This model didn’t come with a cab indicator. I believe it could be added. If my cab on the dozer was enclosed I would have looked at that more.
It'll buff out
That’s right! It looked way worse than it was.
Nice work, Looks like some of my rigging!
Thanks! Yeah it was rigged but thankfully it worked.
Cat like reflexes……
lol yep! The whole roof system is about to collapse.
OSHA APPROVED!!! There was nothing sketchy there…. Just good ole RedNeck iIngenuity. LOL Good job finding the balance point on that limb. It was about all that excavator wanted to lift. No one hurt, the car started, minimal damage in the end… somebody was watching over your shoulder… doncha think?
He’s fast when it counted! Good job.
Lol. Yeah he moved quick. I was glad we didn’t have any more close calls. Thanks!
Man he moved just in time lol can you dig that big tree up and bring to Texas lol
Yeah he pulled just the right board to make it interesting. That would be a chore to move that big live oak. This place is close to my house. I have sat on that front porch many an hour visiting Mr. Ed. Those trees are nice!
Amen brother! Made new in Christ!!
Thanks for watching!
Amen
Thanks!
What size dump bed is that on your truck?
The bed holds 8 cy to the top of the rails.
Enjoyed the pond build! Sam def would have had his saw stuck in that tree 😂 just kidding! I like the way those tooth pins work over mine! Man how does Kubota expect ppl to afford parts 🤦🏼♂️. Great message sir!
Thanks! Yep I was going to say that I have these problems because I pick on Sam but thought I would give him a break. I don’t know why their parts are so high. The shaft and gears to rebuild the drive with was $3200 from Kubota. So I bought the aftermarket one for $3200. Thank you!
I used to work at a kubota dealer and 9 times out of 10 the it wasn't the drive motor that goes out its just one shaft that strips out alot cheaper to fix then a whole drive motor. You might want to check into that
Thank you for the information. I bought a new aftermarket unit for $3200 and have already installed it. I had checked with the local Kubota dealer for pricing on the shaft and planetary(?) gears and the quote was $3200 for those. I still have the old drive unit and I believe you are correct in that it is the shaft. I may price the shaft only and restore the old unit to have in the future. How hard is it to install the shaft as I have never taken a final drive apart before? Thanks for watching!
@planeanddirtsimple it's been awhile since I have done one but the best I remember its not to bad of a job just lat everything out as it comes apart and be careful with all the seals. The end cap is held in with a wire hidden under a set screw. Just spin the cap until you see the end of the wire and get the wire started coming out of the whole and spin it out
What a great video man. And a great message at the end. Really spoke to me in a time when I needed it.
Thank you! I am glad the message had meaning for you. God says HIS word will not go out void (Isaiah 55:11). I appreciate you watching!
That would be a really cool job to do except for that stump. I believe that is the biggest root system I have ever seen, wow! Great message! Amen…
Yep! I thought the stump would come out easy since one side was basically exposed. I was wrong!
What if it don't turn left or right it only go forward what that mean anyone?
Sounds like the linkage may be the problem. Did you try tightening the brakes?
I needed a good long video to watch while I work. You need to do more of these long form videos. Can you bring that ex. a few miles east and do my little pond? We need the same thing.
Thanks! If I was closer I would bring it but AL is quite a pull for me. Did you get my email?
Hi! I see you have quite a few videos from Fort Smith, which is where I’m from. If you dont mind me asking, how come yall were always at KFSM?
Our company has work of that way and we are just checking on the job progress. We do power line construction.
Well done.
Thank you! I appreciate you watching.
Thank you for the new video. Your message was one of strength through Christ. Spot on. Excellent excavator and dozer work.
Your welcome and thanks! I appreciate you watching.
Look at you with a long runvideo with transitions and a mid roll. Keep them coming boss man!
Thanks! Didn’t know I had a mid roll 😁 Did you get my email?
Cuanto cuesta una en honduras
No lo sé, pero en Estados Unidos cuestan unos tres mil dólares.
Great video. I assume you have been stuck many times. It don’t seem to bother you
Thank you! Yes, I have been stuck in the dump truck many times but not too many with the excavator until this job.
How hard is it for a single pilot to fly into teterboro compared to a another airport for an example Knoxville, Columbus, etc?
If you are used to single pilot operations then it will not be that hard. It starts getting busier than normal after you get on with New York Center generally. If you will look at the weather and D-Atis before you go and get family with whatever approach they are using it will help a lot. Sometimes they are using a circling approach and some approaches have a mandatory crossing height so make sure to look at plan view on charts. They generally had me down to 4000 or so a good ways out and around the hills coming in it always seems to be turbulent. Taxing is ok but it can get annoying. Sometimes you will be in a queue for taxi. You may want to listen to clearance before you start up. I always used Meridian FBO but it has since been bought out by Signature.
@@planeanddirtsimple thank you, sir
Nice flight; thanks for sharing.
Thank you!
Great message. Have you ever flown into Mountain View Wilcox 7M2?😊
No I don’t think I have ever flown in there. My dad’s family is from Mountain View though. I like that area. When I used to fish a lot I would go to the Bass Cat owners tournament on Norfork Lake.
Love that tlittle M2. Things always look different from the outside; sure, but seems like a nice little life you have there.
Thank you. I enjoy the M2. It pretty well meets all of the companies needs. God has blessed me more than I deserve. You’re right, things look different from the outside. Life is not perfect but I am content. Have a blessed night!
Now that was a fun one! Nice hat too!!!! Great segue from airplane service ceiling to our prayer service ceiling . . .
Thanks! That’s my flying hat 😁.
Hope you got your speed brake issue resolved. I’ve had the OneCall team come out a couple of times at ISM. Watch out for birds, I saw a bunch while there, those big cranes. Another great message, I like your analogies.
Thanks Pete! Service guys looked at it but couldn’t find any issue. Thanks for the heads up on the birds. I hope I don’t ever hit one. I hit a duck in a C182 once and that was not nice or cheap.
Good flight and high density altitude warning; thanks for sharing.
Thank you! I appreciate you watching
hey brother did you build your mounting pole or buy it? looking at options i just purchased two lsb110"s
Yes I made it. It’s electrical conduit. I think it’s 1.5” i.d. I bought two large magnets and bolted them to the pipe. This works ok but that pipe will move some side to side. Have to keep an eye on it. I was going to add a brace on each side to help hold but just haven’t yet. I don’t know how well the factory made magnetic mount works. The best scenario is to have a plate in the center of the blade you can bolt the pipe to. Hope you like yours. I have enjoyed having the Topcon.
Hello from Columbia, Ms. We spoke the other day ready to see what you bring to the channel.
Thanks for taking us alone and for the GOOD Word!
Thank you! Hope you have a great 4th!
Great message! Doesn’t take long to get all messed up for sure…
Amen!
I thought you got your clearance on the ground, but then you departed vfr and got it airborne. What’s up with that? Nice flight, great message. Hope you get the departure!
I was going to ask the same thing Pete.
I am not 100% sure but when I came back through to drop the passengers off the information was saying IFR departure not authorized for that runway. There was construction happening on one end of the runway so did that cause that? I don't know. Also when I came back through there was a lot of weather and I departed VFR and got the clearance in the air. Fortunately I was able to do that. So there may have been some confusion in the tower as to where they could issue the clearance on the ground or you had to depart VFR on my first departure.
@@planeanddirtsimple interesting. All good, you sorted it out
What’s the cameras for? Should have told him to subscribe and find out🤪 The covered FBO must be new, wasn’t there last time we were at Rocky Mountain. My 30R visual resulted in a trim runaway! Absolutely DA there is no joke took us 1/2 the runway before rotation! Great message!!!! Have a blessed day!!!!
I told him about the cameras but not sure he understood. That was my first trip there. Nice place. Rough coming in. Denver had been shut down due to storms. The passengers had to drive 1 1/2 hr up the mountain because I couldn’t make it with DA being so high. Thanks! Have a blessed one too!
And now you’re stuck again 🤣🤣🤣 Maybe Santa will bring you a Kit Kat and a Dr. Pepper! Great message…
My wife buys me some Dr Pepper now but I have to ration them. Still no Kit Kat. Maybe Santa will feel sorry for me. I figured out a name for my dump truck….”Squatter”…..gets on somebody else’s place and stays there.
Well, you buried up twice and whacked the camera with a tree. 😳🤪 At least you get to clean the Kubota again…🤣 And just now saw a truck buried…😳
I think I got stuck more on this job than any other. I’m tired of cleaning 😓just as soon as I opened the window mud would come flying in. The camera deserves it.
Man…… get’n fancy with the drone footage!!!
Didn’t even hit a tree!
I have to say at one point I thought that slurry had you! Nice job! Nice message!
I did too but I was determined to get out without calling for help lol. Thank you!
Nice intro music. GoPro will be the death of me. Battery issues, overheat issues, audio issues, and just plain bugs! Very interesting watching you get yourself unstuck. That dirt looks so soft and rich, like potting soil! Would be great for the garden! Outro music then a great message. Thanks for sharing.
I get frustrated with the cameras for sure. The dirt was soft. There had been another contractor ahead of me removing trees and I couldn’t tell where the stump holes were until I was in them. Thanks Pete!
What do you call the storage area for that fancy muffler cover? Coffee Closet? Have a Blessed Day!
lol. I guess so. You got me thinking….could I put a coffee pot back there?

Thank you for a very in depth video. You covered it all. Now I can get to work on my 97’ 4900.
I’m glad it has helped someone. Thanks!
Can't wait to see the update.
Enjoyed watching the dozer push! I could watch that all day lol thank you for the message sir! Needs to be more light in this dark world!!
Thank you sir!
Lot of truth in what you said. Folks are looking over sin forgetting that God does not over look sin! Amen…
Amen!
Nice work…. Better message!!
Thank you! Hope y’all are having a good weekend!
Great dozer work. Followed by an even better message. Keep spreading the word of GOD. Thank you
Thank you sir! Hope you have a blessed day !
It’s gonna take a lot of dirt to fill and shape that area. Kinda like filling the well of sins in our soul! Thanks for the thoughtful respite!
That’s right! I’m interested to see how it turns out the next go around.
Another great message and great analogy.
Thanks Pete! I’m behind on video watching but going to catch up some this evening. Have a good one!
