My first 3d resin printing project for my daughter. Completely different than FDM (filament) printing. This produces a very clean, crisp print with virtually no printing marks. I loved trying it and it made for a great looking model. A challenge to paint!!!
Batman 3D model project
Просмотров 2757 месяцев назад
My latest 3D model, Batman from the 1989 original movie. Still on a learning curve with 3D printing but getting better. I had the option of having the flowing cape or not, and even though it was a pain to print, the flowing one is more dramatic. Also had the option for a searchlight, and my daughter said to definitely have it, she was right. Video and audio from the original movie with music by...

My first attempt at 3D printing with my Bambu P1S printer. A lot of trial and error at first to get the correct settings, but I think it's OK for a first attempt.

20000 Leagues Under the Sea Nautilus Diorama
Просмотров 1 тыс.9 месяцев назад
My completed Nautilus project from Disney's 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea movie. One of my favorites. A lot of work on the resin body, and a lot of lighting LED's and fiber optics. I think the diorama really adds to the model. The crew also adds a lot to the whole project, even the squid! Hope you enjoy. Music: Nautilus (Captain Nemo) Theme from the movie, composed by Paul J. Smith (1954)
Gort and Klaatu resin figures from The Day the Earth Stood Still.

My second favorite Syfy movie and my latest modelling project. Resin figures of Gort and Klaatu. I have never worked with resin and it was different and challenging. A lot of sanding and putty work. I took the liberty of making Klaatu a sparkle blue as the movie was B&W. Looks pretty good. I included the beginning movie sequences for anyone who has never seen it.

My building of the Cutty Sark clipper ship. It was an effort and pushed my building skills, but I think it came out great.
1/77 Nautilus Build Part 1
Просмотров 85Год назад
My first attempt at filming a build process. Not as good as a lot of others I see, but I'm giving it a go. I hope I will get better as I go. Bought this resin Nautilus a year ago and just now starting it. I bought a bunch of extra 3D printed parts from Shapeways and I think that will add to the model immensely. I will have lighting and a finished interior. I may even have a spinning prop, haven...

My completed Seaview project. I think that it came out well. The display adds some realism. A lot of work, but i enjoyed it!

I had already published this video a while ago, but I learned how to import audio files so I reworked the original to have audio form the actual movie now. enjoy! A really cool movie!
U Boat Project

Latest model project of WWII U-Boat. Lots of small detail and weathering techniques. About 200 hours total work.
I love a high quality diorama and miniatures like these.
Amazing display.. was this a purchased model that you added to, or from scratch?
This was a very hard to find, purchased resin model that I had to assemble, paint, etc. I added a ton of extras and the lighting. Thanks for the comment, appreciate it.
Awesome job.
That is so cool !!!
Questo è il vero Nautilus.
when i was a small boy , voyage was my goto show , just the first season. got a little crazy with the monster of the week episodes. congrats for an eqqscllent job. i miss richard basehart and david headison.
I had a huge crush Capt. Crane (David Hedison). 💕
Can't wait to see complete.
@@shawnross6165 Working diligently on it!
Magnificent !❤😊
A man could get EMOTIONAL about a lady like that ! Nice work !
Will always be the best version of Enterprise. There's a reason Picard season 3 returned to this design.
That's just beautiful ❤️....*Brings a tear to me eye"
Well Done.
Cool! Looks fantastic! Live long and prosper!
Well, he has the Port and Starboard running lights in their correct positions...
@@michaelwhalen2442 I triple checked and triple checked and triple checked before I actually glued them in and put the 2 sections together
@@qakeith Looks great! Let us know when the rest of the ship is complete. Thanks!
WOww! Amazing man! Where did you get your kits like lightning electronics, decals, paint, reference materials and of course, the physical model to work on? I saw your last two videos on this, but the comment section is disables. I saw a glimpse of the observation lounge. So cool! Cheers! - 🐧
Thank you so much for viewing and nice comments. The model is from Polar Lights, the lighting is a kit from Trek Modeler, the Aztec decals are from HDA Modelworx. All the paints are my own collection. The acrylic laser cut windows are from laserfirecreations.com. There is also photoetch parts from ParaGrafix. It is an expensive undertaking, but I think it will be soooo worth it when finished.
Serie formifable annees 60❤ 2:20
Formidable Série
Still the coolest submersible ever imagined !
Imagine owning this AND the NCC-1701 Star Ship Enterprise!
A great job, friend. I loved this tv serie in my years 60/70. Congratulations. Oswaldo from Brazil.
I introduced this very show back in 1969! I was on a local Philadelphia kids' show called "Wee Willie Webber" on PHL17. I think by then, Voyage was in reruns but it was my 1st moment on local TV when I was 9 years old. My Cub Scout Pack was there for a taping after school and I was able to watch myself on TV at 6 pm when the show aired. 😀
That is awesome 👏🏻
Isn't there a re make in the works...?
I had VttBotS lunch box that I took to school with me , everyone wanted to trade their Land of the GIANTS LUNCH BOX for mine but no way Hosea 😮😂
A Sub Above!
My girlfriends would have ostracized me but I loved the Seaview. It was so beautiful I imagined living on it. To this day I have a model and poster of the schematics. I grew up in St. Louis and one day as I drove down Florissant Rd I nearly wrecked because there out in the playground of a daycare was a model of the Seaview! Turns out it was reproduced to scale by an engineer who worked for McDonnell Douglas in St Louis. The model shown in the series was 8 ft long eventually ended up in a museum in Portland OR I think but since has gone into moth balls. If I were a billionaire I would make a replica that could take people on an excursion and cast the immediate crew to look as close to the original as possible.
Guys hollyweird cannot make good science fiction movies like this one, or any others, these are classics and have exilent special effects.
OMG, it even has an interior! Beautifully done! How big is it? Is it scratch-built? Based on a kit? Outstanding work!
It’s a kit and it’s about 39 inches long. I didn’t care for it just sitting on its original stand so I made the diorama instead. Thanks for the nice comment.
@@qakeith I didn't even mention the stand, which was also beautifully crafted. You can almost sense a sea monster lurking nearby.
loved this show as a kid
I love this movie the comic remake interface imho is a waste of film just like the psycho remake
Yes the flying sub would fit in the nose section but there would be no room for people to walk around and look out of the windows.
very nice thank you!
Looks great Gort is my hero l wish he was true as the world would be a better place
Carl and I are enjoying the heck out of this colorized high quality reproduction. This has brought back great memories of family gathering around TV Sunday nights locked in on the story. Thank you. 🙏🏼
What a fantastic model that matches a fantastic movie. I wonder what it would be like remade with today special effects technology. I only hope they ge good actors to play the parts. No race swapping or messages. Just raw entertainment.
Fantastic! You are a craftsman and artist, no details missed. As a modeler in my younger years, I can trully say your work is the best I've seen! Now I have to go watch the movie and a whale of tale or two!!!
Thank you very much! I appreciate the kind comments! I really love making models and now that I’m retired I have the time to devote to it.
That... is... AWESOME!!
The actual sea view sold for 2.5 million
Beautiful job! I've had that model (and the lighting kit) sitting on a basement shelf for YEARS...unbuilt. Along with about 12 other unbuilt models. One of these days.
Wow , I would love one of these !
Waooooooooo
Una pelicula de culto, increible; la vi de niño en el cine cuando la estrenaron y todavia la recuerdo, me gustaria verla de nuevo !!!!!!!!
Well done, sir....
Nice job!🙂
Umm uncle Bob?
Maravilloso!! Gran serie
This was the show during its time. I used to say as a little child, " Voyage to The Bottom of The Tube."
My grand parent took me to see this with Soylent Green at the drive thur movie theater at night what a day we had
Soylent Green and fantastic voyage in one night?! That's too much to take in in one night! 😅 Amazingly your comment reminded me that my parents took me to see fantastic voyage at the drive-in movie theater! We were all blown away by it!
Dam you all to hell, Soylent green are people...😂
Good film for its day!
Got to love those Cadillac fins , what a great design
Without a doubt, the stern section bears a striking resemblance to my `61 Cadillac Coupe de Ville!
Not functional but too cool!
