i wish i was here earlier... but then again, i wasn't even on utube... but let me say this... u have to read the whole story to understand this... for 1, Saul didn't summon up Samuel to talk to TMH (the Most High) 4 him... he wanted help from him to defeat the Philistines, (Who were considered "Giants" to the Israelites, :cause they were around 9ft. tall) cause TMH departed from Saul... & Samuel explain that to him by saying... "why ask of me??" How could Samuel help him when it was the Lord's doing to depart from him, Remember what Samuel said when he was still alive?? "To obey is better than sacrifice." Now u said, "the more we seek him, the more we find him?? well why didn't Saul??" Because he already made his decision to be Disobedient,,, as Many people do today. He didn't want to do what the Lord said, so the Lord didn't have his back like he did for David. Now Saul didn't go into the enemies camp... They would have killed him... The Philistines were encamped in Shunem, & Saul in Gilboa. The woman was up in Endor, which is further north, but all in the portion of land given to the tribe of Issacar. & as you read on, you see that Endor was a town where those Wizards, Mediums etc... etc.. dwelt. I tried to make this brief,,, but there's so much to that story...
