En av mine definitive favorittløyper i heisanlegg. Begynner faktisk å gro igjen nederst. Blir tøft på film, men kanskje litt utpsykende å ikke se stien i den farta...

Smuud kjøring, Mr Berg! Begynner å bli noen år siden jeg mekka/tilrettela denne stien, men ser ut til at den fortsatt har beholdt sjarmen.

Thanks for making these videos! I guess I'm gonna stick to "Begynner'n" for a while;) Would you say its ok run that track with a normal mountain bike with front suspension, or should I use a "trail bike" for that too?

Det var en fin dag, og kjøringa til Iren er direkte morsom å se. Så kan man like eller ikke like "Sekund-for-sekund"-filmer. Og det faktum at vi ikke kjørte fulle 6 kilometer, men to snarveien gjennom Hemsedalsløypa...

That really angered me and I went back to an older model of NTN Freeride (black binding) - this is the most reliable of all the NTN binding, but higher weight. I wish you luck in choosing a new NTN binding, take it as a recommendation. Thank you.

New tour. NTN Freedom is currently very unreliable, defect, beware! sudden twist when driving down to the output (walking) mode! Following the destruction of downhill mode functions in terms of possession in this position. It is necessary to wait for the facelift model and other improvements. I purchased bindings in December 2012 and after the first day of skiing destroyed, followed by complaints and I expected that it caused a rare defect in manufacturing. But I was wrong! Read on to continue.

yeah actually buying a bike in winter especially a DH bike is a good idea too, there might be some good deals then cuz it is regarded as a summersport hmmm

Pretty sure I'll like it, but it's a good idea yeah. I haven't got time before they close for the season.. Just looking to find a very good deal during winter, and if I do not like it I'll just sell the bike again. And if I do not end up finding one before spring I'll rent one and try it out first :)

hehe thx, i just returned from Norway, did the park one day w my own ahem trail mtb and it was great ;)

Oslo Sommerpark is very reachable from Oslo, it has about 4 (5?) trails this season (which is over soon) and I think they are going to have 9 in total next season. It's not that expensive, you'll probably end up paying around 1000 norwegian kroners (nok) for a whole day if you need to rent a bike and everything else.

This first year there's five trails, next year there will be more. You can easily ride four of them on a hardtail. The subway (T-bane in Norwegian) goes nearly all the way, Frognerseteren is the last stop. Check prices on their website. A day pass is somewhere around 30 euros.

thinking about visiting Norway on a mtb, OSlo Sommerpark seems ideal for a quick DH buzz before moving on to see glaciers, fjords and all Does it have many trails? easily reachable from Oslo? expensive?

Perfect for beginners, but only the DH-trail for the advanced riders + some airtime in "Fri Flyt" now. But the Singletrack "Stiknusern" could be fun, although I didn't ride it after it was finalized. Next year there will be three more trails more on the red/black level. In time local riders will help build more technical stuff. For now "Frognerseteren" trails could be worth while to check out.
