I freaking know right just make it so that he can only give that to ability to green Digimon. Feel sometimes like they hate green so much because they make all these really good cards that are better in non-green based decks, I mean, look at HPD in imperial??

@BmanX45 One Piece Anime gone for 5-6month hold will resume in April next year from ep 1123, that's why i think they will not give dub batches as well, news all over the place from all official op handles for the hold

Oh, I remember this. I remember Oda saying after Toriyama passed away that he was taking a break from the manga wasn’t sure if this was gonna affect the anime, is that kind of what you meant?

@@BmanX45 no that's not entirely, we got three announcements recently from op handles, first is anime is on hold and will resume from april 2025 onwards, second manga on hold as well but for 2 weeks only now it already resume from ch 1131 but for manga yep it is possible coz of toriyama reason , third they were working on the special episodes from fishman island anime which is airing as well, in which we will see fast pacing and better animation first ep is already out now it will keep going on without hold

And in it we usually cover new erratas sometimes general rule changes, but also we cover the Q&A for each set to go over basic card rulings for the cards that have Q&A’s. Yah we are hoping something can be done although from what bandai said, they’re not in the mood to have an open conversation they’re just going to do whatever they feel like, punish us without any real proof because they say they have proof which they should be able to give us, and they won’t, and honestly, they should have to give out the names of people who reported, because the store should be able to ban them for attacking the store, and our small and fragile digimon community.

Yah I understand, it’s nice when the cards in the set see decent amount of play, But when they re-print cards that don’t really see a lot of play, kinda hard to justify spending money on that.

I know what you mean, and more than that has someone who likes to do other things while I watch shows like maybe play some video games or build models and other stuff or play card games it’s nice to be able to and not have to pay attention every word that’s being said.

@BmanX45 agreed, I think it's just the 5 digivolve cost. But, then again the new tamer has a pseudo blitz and so does the new emperorgrey. Just seems hard to keep turn with him if you can keep turn I think he is great. The unsuspend part is why I am trying to make him work. Right now I have him as a 2 of.

That would also be a cool way to run it, I was thinking about BT7 JetSilphy, forgot about neemon in the set, and Strabimon would be cool, was just trying to lean into the unity digivolution side of the deck. Probably because I’m just more excited for purple hybrids lol

Yeah, I think I was pretty sick that day and probably should’ve taken a break but try to do a daily upload every day if possible. Not my best work, hope I can do some gameplay videos in the future showing off skirmish and full matches live!

I definitely can get by in that statement. Although I think Davis and Ken does provide a hard point, as it also helps accelerate plays for any veemon deck, like magnamon and Ulforceveedramon. Which I think gives it a higher potential to be on the chopping block for a new restricted list.

Also I totally blanked and forgot about Cherubimon Ace for the deck as it can blast over your Lucemon CMs bring back your Regular Lucemon and go back into CM By putting the ace on top of the security stack

In my personal opinion, no, for a couple reasons. 1) your Digimon Digivolve from the trash a lot in the deck, and not necessarily the hand. The big cost digivolutions happen more so this way, and it would be a waste to use vortex res on a champion. 2) if you don’t have a liberator trait card on the field, of which there is a limited number in this deck at the current moment, you would need all three colors on the field to activate vortex res without. Whereas with liberator, if you have an analog youth on board, you can activate it as well. 3) liberator being able to play your Yuuki’s for free from both hand or security is really good for you, vortex res only gives you this from security. Now, as we get more support for the deck, this might change, but I definitely feel liberator is the better choice as of right now.

It’s all good. I used to play dark worlds as well. Just the saying that was popular around at my locals. Yeah it’s really cool to have a fully supported demon lord deck, that’s not Beelzemon. I guess we have Lilith as well, but that deck never quite feels finished lol. And Levia is like all different purple engines smashed together to get 2 to 3 cards in the trash ASAP lol!

Definitely think mother and Shoto need a banned pair, I’d honestly rather see the Davis and Ken get hit. Losing both of the BT12 level 4s would stuck! Interesting thought about the zero cost options. Do you really think they need to be banned or just limited all to one?

@@BmanX45 I also lean towards the Davis and Ken over the bt-12 pair but yes I think banning zero cost is best they completely ignore the resource system of the game and are easily abused

I can agree with you there, cards like: gravity crush hammer spark and blinding Ray just let people go for game too fast. As well HPD is another busted zero cost that shouldn’t still be in the game, especially, with decks like imperial that can really abuse it

Now that the set is a lot older, I would say singles are your way to go, as a lot of them are cheaper and you wouldn’t necessarily get a lot of value out of buying a box depending on how you pull. Usually it’s better to buy boxes early on in the sets life. You keep the stuff that you need and sell the other stuff for value and use that towards the cards you want.

Generally, alternate arts never get re-prints. The regular arts may get pre-prints in a set like the resurgence booster, And the only other thing it might get is a new alternate art at some point if reprinted.

I get that! I used to play Yu-Gi-Oh! and when I quit that, I didn’t go back to cards for a while, played X-Wing and Legion since I’m a big Star Wars nerd. Then I played Star Wars destiny as a card game, but it got canceled shortly after. Had friends try to get me into magic and I was like I enjoy playing with you guys, but I really don’t want to invest in the game then when Digimon came out, it was my childhood memories coming back to me. I had to play. However, I understand the desire not to get too deep into multiple card games as they are expensive. It’s best to find the one you like the best stick with it and then if you have friends who play the other one dabble in them. If I had any friends that played one piece, I would definitely try to learn the game. I think it looks cool, but I’m not willing to invest it.

That is a pretty solid strategy, I’ll definitely have to give it a try. Yeah I love Cherubimon Ace, such a great card, and being able to play out your level 3 or 4’s too, plus Alliance is always a great choice

Yeah, I get that, or breaking the rules of the game because they’re too complicated for a anime/comic format, being a former Yu-Gi-Oh player, watching the first season is painful since it breaks so many of the basic rule mechanics of the game lol!

@@BmanX45 That show never skips rounds, never breaks its own rules, spent the first 4-5 episodes explaining the rules to the protagonist and audience, had characters actually work on balanced decks and buying booster packs, and had no supernatural elements till season 2.

That sounds like a pretty good way to start a series, keep it grounded until you run out of ideas lol!!

That would be cool, same kind of thing like some of the Yu-Gi-Oh games, as long as it updates the cards and lets you play with whatever you want and doesn’t limit you unless you buy cards or progress in the game

I get cutting red deputy, doesn’t seem like it does enough for the deck. I guess I just like the idea of playing a ninth champion. I just think late game sparrow could be really clutch. Specially if you have a Gundramon on board with no source. I can see wanting to run a fourth gundra, however I do like having the Ace for consistency not necessarily to digivolve on a level five but just a hard play to screw up your opponent!

I actually completely get this, yeah, the Nidhogg is All right, but I find if I’m winning the game I never even think about going into it so one would be fine, didn’t think of Anubis, but yeah, that’s actually pretty great combo with the play style of the deck. And you can’t go wrong with ruin mode, although I can see a second, Crimson Ace being good to. I like the idea of a ruin mode just for versatility. as for Demi, I definitely think it would be cool to play more of it, I just have to test more to figure out how I like the deck. Still all really solid suggestions thanks!

seconding the ex7 nidhogg being mid. Im running 4 HMD, 1 anubis, 2 memory nidhogg, 1 Crimson Mode for top end. Waiting on the BeelzeBM Ace on the second half of BT19 and the rumored HMD Ace in BT20

Definitely thought the Royal Base and Lucemon support would be in there, everything else you stated makes perfect sense when I think about it. I just can’t fathom 8 plus low pull rates in the 2.5 release lol! Way too many, gonna be a lot of poor broke souls after February!

Yah I played a lot of imperial and paladin is pretty great. It’s also super situational especially in non-imperial decks, where I feel quartz is always really good, just cause it gives your opponent another mechanic to have to play around. All while you build up your next stack in the back for round two once they finally get rid of the quartz. Also, I’ll have to try the EX7 Tricera, didn’t think about that one, and to me both grandgales feel lack luster sometimes

That’s what I initially thought unfortunately, I had someone at a tournament who ruled this wrong on me and I was too polite to call the judge, which I should’ve done. Which is why I thought it was weird in the comic. I was already kind of questioning that match after I read it, but your comment was the final straw so I went and checked with my local judges to confirm it. Thanks!

I think I understand it now. The reason overclock lets you attack when suspended is that the effect is letting you bypass the cost of attacking. The cost of declaring an attack is, of course always suspending your Digimon. by deleting a Digimon you substitute that for the cost of declaring that attack. Meaning that if your Digimon either isn’t suspended and you can make another regular attack afterwards. or if your Digimon is already suspended, you can make the attack since you are paying the cost for the attack by deleting your Digimon instead of suspending. Whereas with vortex it does not change the cost, the attack requirement still requires you to suspend, however, it lets you attack, even if you just summoned the Digimon, and you have to attack an opponents Digimon. Hopefully, this makes sense!

Yeah, I was thinking it had potential, the nice thing is that milling is still technically good in the deck, even if it’s not the main way you want to drop cards, you drop them from your hand. Still it adds consistency by speeding up your trash plays

@@jimmymc1188 I thought there was a discussion about BT5 Guilmon not getting his ability off of dp reduction to 0, due to it being a game mechanic. I guess they must have changed it so yellow isn’t super unfair to purple

dp reduction is not deletion by effect, the ruling is that it's the game mechanic of the digimon being at zero dp is what's deleting it not the effect that reduced the dp.

@DattMawson it's effect that deletes it, game mechanic come into effect when it can't be deleted by a effect

This is what I got from my friend in the judge network hopefully it clarifies: Deletion by 0 dp is not an effect, it's a rule. So guilmon wouldn't get his effect. Bear in mind this is only for on deletion abilities that Read: if this card was deleted by an effect. Like BT5 Guilmon, hence the reason they stopped Using that phrasing with on deletion effects shortly after that set.
