@@zonda2003 oh not to mention 11 people died which was 8% of the crew so almost a 10th of people died and they were all low crewman i mean firefighters very rarely have fatalities and they go to millions more calls for help

Mayport is a US Navy base at the mouth of the St. Johns River near Jacksonville, Florida. At one point USS John F Kennedy was homeported there. There's a very nice state park with a beach right across the river from it where you can soak up the sun and watch the shipping traffic in and out of Jax.

I was stationed at Mayport 1990-1993 as a Military Patrolman. We drove Dodge Pickup Trucks at the time. Our weapon was a Smith and Wesson 38 Caliber Pistol. Times have changed.
