Massive thanks as always brother! Not always, because usually you just try to find a spot before someone else takes it, but if it is possible and I don't see any bait fish I will make a move. Yes, I almost always change jig depending on the light but, to be honest, I've caught really well on very dull colors in low light before as well. Many times we just have to motivate ourselves instead of the fish.

@ understandable, its usually very hard to find a spot that isnt packed with people so moving is not so easy sometimes 😅

@@NicodaFishing from my experience the best setup for tunies is smal jig 50-60g,pinky mostly.And the very important thing is to use tiny fluorocarbon.0.36 for instance,This way the jig will act more lively and u will have more catches !Its strong enough for tunies of 6-7 kg.

Yea, I cancelled going yesterday and decided to do some editing instead, so the video could go up today. I am really longing for my Saragosa to come back from being fixed so I can cast heavy jigs again when it is windy!

Sunday is looking promising, Monday even more so. Saving up for a new reel next year, Would you reccomend the Saragosa?

Yes, I really recommend it for the price! One of the captains I worked with in sri lanka even used his for GTs without any problem.

That's a great question and it depends quite a bit on what set up you use, how deep the water is, will you be fishing in very windy conditions, how strong is usually the current and what species will you be targeting? The colors that I think are an absolute must have are: Needle jig: Zebra Glow and Barracuda Slim jig minnow: Zebra Glow and sardine color Sardine slider: Chartreuse and Sayoris. These colors will cover both low light and sunny days. Why I always have Zebra Glow as my favorite is because it works amazing in all lights!

@@NicodaFishing Thanks for the quick reply. I currently have 20-60 rod and was thinking to add 30-100 SG shore jigging rod for heavier setup. I am fishing Atalntic Ocean, Barrcuda are the common catch here, but we also have Blue fish, Amberjack and Bonitos. Depth are from 10 M Shallow to ~ 25 mid range, did not go deepr yet because currents are very strong. Sizes vary from 1 kilo to huge monsters that cut me without even seeing them. hahaha

Brother, it sounds like you have a truly awesome place and if there are regular strong currents and big fish I honestly think you should go for the 60-150g rod instead! Then you can use 100g and even 120g jigs if the current is really strong sometimes. You will also have a very good chance to put one of these giants on the bank. If possible within your budget I would go for the more high end sgs6 paired with a Shimano 8000, as you already seem hooked on shore jigging.
