The problem is these are in real life very noisy. They fly over your back garden at high frequency if you live in the wrong area all for serving a population already very well served with far less disruptive food delivery bikes, ebikes, cars vans etc. I can't hear any of these from my garden, or inside my house, but the noise of the drones going over is on another level. I hear more drones in fifteen minutes than I have heard in a lifetime up to now.

Not sure how I feel about customizing the AI. At the end of the day, if all the cars eventually become autonomous, we don't want them all moving differently. You have that one guy that selects the "slow" setting, driving 65 mph on the high way inner lane is friggin annoying. Rather just have AI decide what is optimal and keep the flow moving. Also it is hard enough to train for a single purpose, to let each individual train their own data is too costly, at least for now. If multiple car companies all let this company train with their customers and cars, who owns the technology and data? The only solution in the end is to open source this like Facebook Llama and destroy the value of self driving software entirely.

its kind of embarrassing how far behind we are to the US with e.g. Waymo et. al. Biggest problem in Europe is the low availability of enough capital as well as the extreme nepotism and elitism around raising capital. And don't get me started on how little risk European investors can stomach.
