RIP Chris, superb entertainer, loved his audience and gave his all. A really lovely guy.
He was such a legend he came and done a concert in my mums living room just 2 weeks ago he was a great guy and a great friend to me my family we all loved him ill miss my chats we used to have on the phone too he was silly and funny at the best of times what a guy me and my family are in such shock as must his family be too but it must be true what they say is that god only takes the best Rip christian we will never ever forget u xx💔😭

Oh I loved Christian, never hear how he is. Saw him at The big Rangers Club in Ibrox in the 70s . Great singer. Anyone know what happened to him, ? Be grateful if anyone has any info. Thanks ❤

Loved Chris as a young teenager watching him play The Cragburn in Gourock, didn’t realise that I’d be sharing the same stage with him when I was older . A beautiful and inspiring man. RIP Chris.

Hi both, last I heard, he was doing venues in Blackpool as late as winter last year and still pops in to care homes to entertain the residents. I would like to know myself when he's performing.
@havana-smoke hes my grandad. Not seen him in a while so was seeing if he was playing in glasgow or near there any time this year
@@mcgamer4474 That's phenomenal, you must be very proud! There's very little online about any upcoming gigs etc, but I'm sure you'll have contacts in the family that could keep you updated in that regard. I always assumed he still stayed in Scotland. Next time you see him, try and convince him to invest in his master tapes if he doesn't already own them to get his albums widely available for the digital age. Some of the videos on RUclips (outwith this channel) have tens of thousands of views, so the demand is there for your Grandad's music!
