Questo è Puccini, bisogna essere intenditori per capire...e questa in particolare è una produzione preziosa.
Schrott is an excellent actor, but his voice is not for this role. A true bass is required here.

The last two comments saying it’s bland singing but I personally find it’s amazing then again I am entirely new to opera

Why are they so in a hurry :D. This is much more enjoyable like 20 bpm on average slower. You can't even get the whole absurdity of the situation. And i am a native german speaker and heard this hundrets of times. It's my favorite Trio.

This is Metropolitan Opera's 2016 production. You can view it in full on 'Met Opera On Demand' service online, though it requires subscription. But you could watch it during the free trial, as well as some other good productions on the website.

@@olafloder9262because there are notes written, the direction to shout and scream lines - “gritando” - existed in Puccini’s day and he used it often when he wanted to, he didn’t mark it here so the delivery that ignores the written pitches and just shouts it is inappropriate

Você é ridículo, se não entende nada de música clássica fica na sua não comente oque não entende. Eu gosto de ópera desde criança e nunca tive ninguém da família que gostasse. Se os jovens de hoje que iguais você quiserem ficar ouvindo palavrões e balançando a bunda que fiquem ninguém liga, mas a grande arte vai continuar existindo sempre e esses músicas que você escuta são descartáveis.
