135 Independent Geographic Squadron Royal Engineers (Volunteers) is the only unit in the Territorial Army (TA) to support 42 Engineer Regiment (Geographic). The Regiment is a Joint Force Command specialist Royal Engineer unit that provides geographic support to all elements of UK Defence; particularly to Army headquarters, formations and units. The Squadron forms the 4th Sub-Unit within the Regiment assisting in delivering this capability.

I'm proud to have been a Royal Engineer for over 22 years. It's a life to be proud of.
I'm proud to say that I'm a Son of a Sapper , just like his Father . As my Father passed away in December 2017 , I have his Service Regalia in a glass cabinet draped with the Union Jack just like it was on his Coffin as we said our final Goodbyes to Our " Muddy old Engineer " The first to arrive , the last to leave the Muddy Old Engineers. Just tell you wife she owes your life to some Muddy Old Engineer " Rudyard Kipling. Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense . Ubigue .
My Late Father and Grandfather were ex Majors, of the Royal Engineers, I'm proud to be a son and grandson of Sappers . I wear with pride on my suit lapel at work in the hotel I work in , the grenade flash the only Regiment who has 9 flashes.
Nicely done. However ; CORPS is pronounced CORE not CORPSE. Though many have ended up as corpses during active duty and normal duties. Trust an old Sapper.

Either way it's not welcomed in my point of view, I'm not a Sapper but I'm Proud to say that I'm a Son and Grandson , to ex Majors Retired Royal Engineers.
