The SPECTRAL DELAY is a unique dual delay pedal that splits your guitar signal into two channels (a low pass and a high pass), then applies a delay to each of them. The two delays are synced: one has quarter note repeats, while the other is a subdivision (we included five different subdivisions).
Each channel has independent control over volume and repeat length, which really lets you dial in some unique delay sounds. A toggle switch lets you choose which channel, low or high, is the primary (quarter note) delay and which is the subdivision.

Spectral Delay Demo

A quick and real dirty demo of our prototype Spectral Delay pedal. Please forgive any continuity errors you encounter. Also, a disclaimer, it's my amp making the noise and not my masterpiece of a pedal. Why is there no LED? You're asking too many questions, mind your own business.
Really neat smart delay - now make it in stereo!
Looking forward to learning more about this pedal!
Love the sounds! Quick question - is there no "global" mix knob on this pedal? Based on how I interpreted the video it seems that the only way to control overall wet/dry mix between the clean signal and the delay signal is through an internal trim pot. 0:48 If that is true - that is extremely inconvenient for the musician. Or am I misinterpreting - and the high and low mix knobs are for control the wet/dry mix of those frequencies separately?
Hi @sikhdunks3168, thanks for checking us out! Good question, happy to clarify. The mix knobs control the volume of the wet signal only. But because we split the signal into two channels (a high-pass and a low-pass), we have a knob for each--so you can dial in delays ranging from warm to glassy. (You can also adjust the Repeats knobs for each so it starts warm and finishes glassy, or vice versa, etc.). By default, we keep the dry signal at the same volume as the bypassed signal, but we added the internal trim pot in case the musician wanted to experiment with a lower volume dry signal (so the wet can be louder than the dry).
@@strangeloopaudio Ahh I see - that makes sense! Thank you for responding to my question. Looking forward to getting my hands on this delay pedal once it is out and in production!
