Safety Routine inspection is a routine job that at least once a week should be checked constantly. Safety equipment like Rescue boats, lifeboat, liferaft & emergency generator are some of the common equipment that has to be inspected regularly.
SOLAS drills are conducted at least once a month for us to refresh and familiarize the procedures and operations of it.
It is the most priority of all, the Safety of life at sea (SOLAS) which is based on the standards of Intl. Maritime Organization (IMO).

Carried out cleaning of nozzle rings and measured the thrust bearing clearance and checked the rotor shaft deflection. Bearings and shafts are still in normal limit values so we decided not to change or replace any parts. 1 hr notice dapat patakbuhin ang turning gear drain ng air tank run additional generator at check ang mga indicator valve then manual supply ng lubrication sa cylinder ng main engine

3rd engineer ang huling sakay ko everytime na aalis ang barko wish ko huwag tumapat sa duty ko para makita ko ang pagalis ng barkong sinsakyan ko pero most of the time laging natatapat sa duty ko na 12 to 4
