I do change the colors in patterns to suit myself or the person I am stitching for. I use Beeswax to run my thread through before stitching! I have never had any problems with it so far. I don’t care for the thread magic. You only have 6 WIPs? I’ve got you beat…8. Your mom sounds like a treasure!

I never realised needle minders were a thing until you showed me yours, reckon Grandma would have loved them when she was sewing. Congratulations on the finished piece - it looks amazing! I am very hopeful that the family portraits will be on the wall when I visit in August. Hint Hint LOL

I think the kickstarter would be super cool. I’d definitely back it. I love a good needle minder. Designs I think could really be anything. I personally tend to like cute spooky things like little smiley skulls or cute ghosties. But the floss daily one definitely!

I’m doing the aquarium SAL too! I got my fabric at Threadneedle Street because we happened to be passing through on the way to visit my oldest and go to Comicon in Seattle. I just adore that shop! For water - I’m better drinking water at work because I take a drink every time I walk by my locker (where my water bottle is). Tying water drinking to another already established habit could help!

To drink more water I start my day off with a big cup of water, drink Sparkling water like Waterloo. Also buy a fun water bottle or cup ( Yeti or Hydro Flask). I also use a straw help me drink more. Hope this helps 😊

The lettering needs to be a bit darker. I don't know if the brown would be the right color. Black might be your best bet. Of course I am not seeing proper colors on screen.
