You can run pure distilled water if you don’t have freezing temperatures …. Topping off your coolant mix with water won’t harm it. There is some truth in running 20%-30% coolant for its anti corrosion and lubrication benefits. Your fuse popping is an entirely separate issue. Add some water water if you wanna help cool the supercharger down slightly more. Or be a big boy and buy an interchiller universal kit

Have to sadly take my supercharged 5.0 in for a water leak under warranty, it is a weird feeling to bring in modified vehicles to any dealership. Used to have a modded civic SI which was obviously tuned and the dealer flashed it back to factory without asking for "another issue" and subsequently caused issues with the fueling system and detonation timing : /. A dashcam is a good recommendation IMO

Manual or auto? I have a 710~ whp manual 22 gt, and the mt82-d4 can handle the power really well(not the stock clutch however after a long time though.) The auto trans can blow up in 7th gear at high rpm so maybe it's that as protection.

Even though I can get free oil changes through my dealer I don’t trust them at all cause what they don’t tell you is they have newbies that change your oil and Lord knows what they do with your car especially one like yours that has so much power. They could dog tf out of it cold just to see what it’s got from the parking spot to their lift. I’m sorry that happened though bro I’m glad they figured it out and it wasn’t anything major. I’m hoping to get a supercharger for my 24 mustang too just gotta keep grinding lol

Wow that’s wild that happened that’s why I don’t like dealerships man I have had bad experiences before with older cars. And my Mustang had an issue at a dealership to get the lift arm underneath they lifted up on my band new Mustang fenders and I have on dash cam and called them out on it.

Did you do the 170 thermostat on it yet?? thats usually one of the first things a GT owner does, especially down south.. Up here in NJ we can get away without doing it because we get real winter's and we mostly have a good 6 months of cool to cold air.. I'm not even boosted but in the summer I still take it easy because they get soo hot after a couple hard pulls.. I have a 17 Gen 2, S550 PP that still has 13,500 miles on her..

Bro, once you start putting serious money and effort under the hood of your car like you've done, ya gotta start doing at least the basic maintenance on it and it sounds like you will be from now on. Only you know where certain lines are routed and why they are routed like that, you learn where vacuum leaks tend to occur, and you get to add fluids and decide when to change them. Your car is modified, and you know what to touch and leave alone under the hood. You bring it to a mechanic for routine shit and something will always be outta place when you get it back cause they don't know what they looking at. Appreciate the video and I love your car.

Outside of warranty work definitely avoid dealerships at all costs. When I got my new truck within 3 visits I had to have my steering wheel backing replaced because they scraped it up with a tool in their hand while getting into the truck, while they fixed that they must have tossed a tool into the passenger dash cubby because it scraped the back of that all up. Had the cubby replaced and now all around the cubby is scratched to shit from them pulling the damaged one out and putting the new one in. I cut my losses after that 😅
