Thank you so much, it means the world to me! 💖💖 And the answer is yes - after she replaced Fogstar as the leader she tried to continue his plans, she felt lost and despite knowing that she should've just put an end to this, she kept going. But the other cats noticed pretty quickly that she wasn't as strong nor strict and decided to take the opportunity to overthrow Nettle and end her and her father's reign. Led by Crimsoneclipse, the rebels managed to defeat those who stayed loyal to their leader, as Nettlestar wasn't truly trying to defend herself. She was passive and practically gave herself in, as if trying to atone for her sins in a way. If it wasn't for Nightingale, she would've been executed with no way to the afterlife, since they all believed an x shaped scar to prevent the ancestors from accepting the fallen spirit. I would love to provide it! These characters are some of my ocs from me and a friends story. (!!TW!! real quick for mentions character death and toxic family relationships I won't go into detail but it is there) ---- ---- ---- ---- Hawkstrike (The main cat focused on in this) is the daughter of Vulturestar, the leader of FogClan. Her mother, Kestreltail, died due to blood loss after kitting and her brother, Owlkit, died of illness. Because of this she originally wanted to become a medicine cat, but Vulturestar (believing medicine cats to be weak and having his own idea of who she should be) forced her to train as a warrior causing her to become very rightfully angry and distant with those around her. On top of this Vulturestar is well known in both clans as a horrible leader, which further isolates herself from her peers and clanmates. Before Vulturestar dies he quite literally demands his deputy make Hawkstrike deputy after him- and since it was his last wish she's made deputy. She struggles a lot with this concept, hating Vulturestar and never having wanted to follow in his footsteps to begin with. She fears becoming what her father was. The other cats shown- Beetlefur and Iceblossom are her childhood 'friend' and mentor. Her and Beetlefur were thought to have been friends but weren't, Beetlefur having mainly been using her as leverage to get what he wants. Also some of the other things Vulturestar has done to paint a better picture of why she's so scared to ever become leader- Exiled his best friend and deputy after he stopped having romantic interest in him because he was mad he couldn't use that to his advantage anymore and using the excuse of him being in a relationship with a rogue to justify this (Said best friend ends up joining a rogue group and dying because of it), denying cats medical treatment, bringing cats with greencough to gatherings

They do! By pure luck, they’re found heavily frostbitten by a patrol of clan cats- even though Paleclan is known for their well… Suspicion of outsiders, they felt wrong leaving a kit to die.

Echatere, by pure luck, though very frostbitten is found by a patrol of clan cats- despite their clan’s suspicion of outsiders, and harsh ways, they’d feel horrible leaving a kit to die. They do eventually become an appentice- but due to their debilitating visions (which the clan is 99% sure isn’t real), and extreme aversion to fighting, they quickly become well, not exactly well loved by the clan to say the least.
