    Previously, these suction cups were adjusted to lower pressure, but now they are not adjusted and it is only possible to break the glass somewhere on an expensive facade, and there is no connection with the manufacturer. I returned the product and am waiting for my money.

      Incorrect, you can find for $149. So when you add the cost of AA batteries and the cheaper build, tuffcup comes out ahead of the ottovac. But again, both companies are updating as we speak

    Dewalt and possibly every other tool company has a neat USB adapter that a 20v battery connects to. Look them up.

    Got a Ottovac and it came with a rechargeable LI battery pack and the standard AA battery pack. Does have a lot of plastic on it. Not sure how it’ll hold up but handle and rubber feels very similar to the manual wood powergrips we use all the time. Well see how she holds up.

      Yes, they've updated their product after the batteries would burn up so quickly. The entire industry is switching to Lithium batteries. Second generation cups from Montolit, Weha, and Rubi are going to be phenomenal.

      Ill need to research and double check. I feel like we were running at 90cfm, but if u go too high it will ruin components of both polishers and saws

    Thanks brother! This is going to hell me on my current project. I just purchased this product without the rails. They were too expensive for the budget after the saw purchase.. but I made it work with a 4’ level clamped down to the tile..

      There is the new G3 (been out a year) and then the pro slim just received a face lift but not sure of availability date. Q3 probably

    I have a 24x48 tile install. I'm a tile contractor. I own numerous wet and snap wheel saws. I'm debating on a Rubi bridge saw or this for U and L type cuts. Mitres would be a big plus also. Thoughts?

      I just had a two month ordeal with 24x48 that would not cut for its lift. The tc125 again proved its value by step cutting and giving us clean cuts

      No such thing. More water the better to keep tools and material cool. If the tile heats up, thermal expansion occurs and it is prone to chip

      I was in Houston when it began as employee 13 and left after two years to take a GM role in Raleigh. Now i am a managing partner of King Tile doing porcelain only installs and fabrication while trying to expand in a more cost conscious manner

This morning I tried to use Rubi saw ( pretty new blade) to cut 47”x23” porcelain tile , but couldn’t cut it right , also tried to cut with grinder too, chips along the tile edge. Then Went to best tile store in Sanfrancisco, get the 6” katana blade for ( alpha track saw ) and 5” katana blade just made for porcelain- dry cut , brought it to the job site, tried the 5” on the Rubi , even tried it on battery dewalt grinder too with this new Japanese blade, still got chips . So disappointed, went back to floor decor , spent another $1800 something to get the Rubi DC 250-1200 wet saw , will try to cut this porcelain tile 24”x47” tomorrow. I will get the Rubi Blade that you suggested, and try it some day . Anyway, thanks so much for your answer, I really appreciate it .

      @@HieuTran-iy3ui are you cutting miters or straight cuts? Straight cuts I’m cutting tiles like you and step cutting using ultra thin mesh. The katana is very aggressive and will lead to chipping. I always do a quick polish and roll over of my edges.

    Wow, you cut so easy and smooth while mine, same as yours , can’t do the job. when I bought it from floor decor, something missing in there , even rubber part attached to the track so it won’t scratch the materials that you mentioned above , I don’t have that either . Maybe the cutter already cut many time before? I don’t know, mine just simply useless.

      What material are you handling? Table and material has a lot to deal with. I recently had a polished slab project from a major supplier that went horrible. Slab was the culprit as their matte cut easily

    Nice shirt ! Didnt recognize it when i saw your video for the first time, but iv been choosen to tile all the Consentino showroom in France, we have to start in february, any advice with their product? I now its an heavy density material, not affraid about it but im searching for a good mitering machine to speed up the process, actually doing it with angle grinder and a lot of polishing to have a 0.5/1mm gap, have you been able to test the différent edger like RUBI or Raimondi ? Thanks! And great work and channel! Love it!

    There are so many different manufacturers moving towards porcelain panels. What are your thought of who is currently making the best quality panels with the most clarity and durability?

      I can remember in 2015/16 being able to tell where every private labeled slab came from. One of three factories. Now the market is getting option after option. Neolith, Dekton, Iris/Stonepeak all make great material. I would be wary of some small time private brands from granite distributors who have no idea what they are ordering in. They just know they need to have porcelain now. The next three years are going to be interesting.

    Hi. Great video. Thank you. You mention that this system can cut up to 8 mm. On my next project, I will be using 10 mm 36" X 72" porcelain panels. Is there a reliable way/trick you know of that would allow me to cut 10 mm tiles with this system, like scoring on both sides? Or do I have to get the TC125? Thanks in advance !

      Ive had hit and miss experience with 10mm. I personally would go with the tc125. No struggles and ease of cutting

      Yes but lasts for days. I charged a month ago and just yesterday left it charging overnight. Really not a problem

      @@porcelainpanelpro I think next time I will go with brand that offers spares, not the Montolit though they want $500 and its virtually the same tool that came from the same manufacturer with stronger batteries. Will see how long mine lasts, I intend to use it on walls from time to time for the large tiles. I wish I had it 2 months a go when I was installing the 24x48 on a 12 foot ceiling master bath

    I bought this at Floor and Decor for the 8ft Slab System and let me tell you it will BREAK YOUR SLAB, please use a Circular Wet Saw and a Turbo Mesh Blade don’t waste $469 like I did

      @@porcelainpanelpro 1/4 thick no mesh at bottom , I bought the $600 Rubi table to go with it but the blade doesn’t score deep enough even with multiple passes so I quickly realized a Circular wet saw Is the way to go even it if takes an extra 5 minutes , We broke 2 slabs “practicing” (You Live and You Learn)

      Damn.i bought all of their products mentioned here. The first rail system, the second one with the beefy adjustable crackers…and the TS circular saw which I love. I was gonna attempt to use the scoring system for the first time tomorrow…and now you have me nervous. Screw that. I’m sticking to the TS tomorrow. I’m not up for buying these folks any new tile! Hell, I even have the big boy Rubi DC 250 at the job for my L cuts. Going with the 24”x48”…so I gotta get it right. Thanks for the heads up!!!💯💯💯💯

    Great video! Couple tech related questions though. I started with the LT55 when it came out. Now using the LT2D3D which has been money. So how did you shoot the floor and ceiling accurately without using the green dot matte tape? Also, theres no way you shot that close to adjacent walls/floor/ceiling without using the black filter. I'm guessing you were just giving the basics? Either way, great video!
