A Parkspective on the Weird Policies of Lagoon

Lagoon is a unique park in Farmington, Utah. It has a long history, and some rules that are definitely distant from the normal policies one would find at other parks including corporate chained and operated entertainment. Footage featured here was used from Lagoon advertisements and collections from Lagoon History Project. check them out here: ruclips.net/channel/UCJiEXD2TW0-5WsBi1osbMTg

Funny moment from PBS' Great Amusement Parks, 1999

Funny Moment from the 1999 special on PBS while guests were being interviewed about a classic ride. The footage has not been edited within this clip, only the audio on the second run through as an emphasis. Kudos to the editing team on this all around great special. I laughed at this when I first saw it air and glad I can share the awkwardness of this.

A Statue of Lew Wasserman pays tribute to a hard working man who paved the way for Universal Studios as a company to grow not only in the movie, television and music mediums of entertainment, but enhanced the theme park world as well. Parkspective takes a look at the details and purpose of "That statue in New York"

Brings back so many memories. I remember when I was a kid, this ride and Star Tours were my favorite to go on whenever we went to the park back when it was still "MGM Studios". It's a shame the Great Movie Ride is gone now.

That is a great question and would be great to have. It is such a great match up of music including some great cinema scores that I personally, still think have been mixed as well to this day. Good luck, or if you make one, please let me know. Thanks for watching.

This ride didn’t need a retheme. Just an update. Like maybe instead of Alien we get Avatar or Lord of the Rings. Instead of Cagney it’s Brando In the gangster section. Instead of Tarzan it’s Star wars. I know it’s weird but id meet them halfway, far better than taking the whole ride out We’ll think of it all tomorrow, we can stand it then. We’ll think of some way to get it back, after all tomorrow’s is another day!
