We all deserve a day off every once in a while. Thinking of you and Candice. Hope you two are doing well. Even though I've basically fallen off the face of the planet, you're constantly in my thoughts. I miss all of my mixer family. Wishing you health and happiness forever. 💯❤️ awe, so inspiring!! I've had to restart again and again as well but for other reasons. My heart is just both aching for your experience and excited that you have been able to achieve so much after a stroke. It must have taken so much work...and so much persistence. It is the "little things" that become the big things .. we really see life in a new perspective after these traumas. I try hard to make my bed as well.. it's that self care at the beginning of the day that sets an attitude of gratitude as you prepare for the day and the days journeys. Also when you mention it's the first chore you could help with. Ugh just wanted to bawl my eyes out.. I've had multiple surgeries on my knees and had to relearn to walk like 8 times. It's so hard when you want to be independent but have to rely on others... A bittersweet feeling. I was so angry...and so much pain and impatience... I kept pushing through... And now hind sight I'm so happy about the support I got from each person on my journey. But that part is very hard... And accepting any limitations.. trying to push through the barriers but be realistic too.. may you keep sharing your story... Keep singing and keep playing music 🎶 🙂 Thank you for sharing your story. :)
