I was trying to defeat Ymir as M.ness ( Terra ) with the soldiers Wedge and Biggs in the GBA version, mine was so hard...

I had this game, but in a GBA version and i was playing as Sully ( Locke )

I forget if I used life 3 here or not.

I had lv 65+ party members and its Ultima still hits for like 7500 damage to a party that has only like 5000 to 6000 HP.

I did the same had all 12 at lv 50 WITH EVERY current spell learnt on all of them in Shadow's case BEFORE fighting the boss half way through the FC itself once Ultima weapon their is killed he won't BE in the party either until you start the world of ruin and get access to the airship or HE DIES if you chose NOT to wait for Shadow during the 10 minute escape sequence.

I STILL had all current party members at LVS OVER 50 here Edgar/Cyan still suck at this point though.

even at lvs over 50 NEVER go here without a fullk party as in NEVER use only 3 party members for the OPERA house part of the game that way you fight the mine cart boss HERE WITH 3 party members NOT 2.

I had Celes Locke Sabin Gau here ALL at lvs over 50 Edgar/Cyan both SUCK at this point due to the high defense enemies and the magic damage flash/bioblaster tools even at lvs over 50+ kind of suck at this point. BUT NEVER do the Opera house WITHOUT a FULL party IE 4 party members BEFORE you start that scenario you don't want to be Stuck with ONLY 2 party members in your case Locke/Edgar AFTER you Lose Celes in the Magi tech factory itself.

I STILL had all at lvs OVER 50 here Cyan/Edgar stil suck though.

I Still had all but Locke at lvs over 50 so I took a lv 50+ Sabin Gau Celes here to join a LV 15 Locke.

I don't know why this showed up in my recommended, but that nostalgia hit me right in the feels.

Unlike the OTHER FF6's I don't recommend doing a SOLO Terra run here before Biggs and Wedge are no longer in the party on this version the Snow Storm move does way MORE damage enough that 2 uses can kill all 3 party members in 1 turn even WITH the exp cheat upped to 4x EXP turned on IMMEDIATELY. Before the Guard leader boss still remove EVERYTHING off of Mog and give Mog's weapon to Edgar and his ARMORs to Locke after the Guard leader is killed with Mog's party.
