Dr. Rebekah Clarke: Doctoral Dissertation Coaching
США
Добавлен 12 июн 2013
I'm a 2021 graduate of Grand Canyon University's College of Doctoral Studies and wanted to use my experience to help other learners as they complete their studies and dissertations. I had a lot of great support throughout my doctoral program, even though I was an online student and am excited to give back to others following a similar journey.
I started my doctoral studies in 2012 and took a long break from 2014 to 2019. When I started back up in 2019, I had a better sense of what I wanted to study and understand, which lead to my study examining the differences in work engagement between those who work at home versus those who work in the office and whether psychological capital (consisting of hope, optimism, resilience and self-efficacy) had any effect on their work engagement.
Shameless plug - I am available to support you in your doctoral journey in others ways as well. I offer quantitative dissertation coaching services and can serve as a content expert on your committee.

Another great video. Do you also capture any of this info in OneNote as well? Or is this info you only keep in Excel?
I kept a different set of notes in OneNote - more theme related and pulled from the narrative of the article versus just the abstract/highlights.
AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME VIDEO!!!!!
I'm so glad you found it helpful!
Great info!
I'm so glad it was helpful!
I am just beginning my PhD, and this is a wonderful way for me to organise my literature.
I'm so glad it's helpful!
Except that the italics are not what the template shows. No italics and using Table title. I send the link to this video to all my learners. Thanks so much for the help!
Thanks! I'll make sure to clarify that in a future video!
You are a genius and a life saver.

My pleasure!
This is of great help! I have a question though, can you please tell me what a binder is?
I used binders to hold all of my printed copies of articles, so I included a column to indicate which binder an article was in. You can remove that binder column or change it, if you so desire.
Great video Clarke!
Thank you!
Hello, why are some boxes shaded a different color
There is conditional formatting included in the file - to indicate areas where information is missing, etc.
Why leard is not accepting membership from India...kindly clarify..
You would need to contact Laerd. I'm not privy to that information.

Hola, estoy armando mi literatura para mi marco teórico para un plan de marketing de la UBA y la forma que ha organizado la información me da un primer buen vistazo o acercamiento para lo que estoy haciendo. Muchas gracias. Tengo algunas preguntas si es posible contestarlas: What kind of theoretical frameworks are there?, what kind of and how many research methods are there? and what kind of and how many research designs are there? Thank you for any approach to my quetions.
Those are some great questions! I will try and answer them in a future video!
Thank you so much. This video has helped to reduce anxiety re approaching my literature review.
I'm so glad it's helpful!
Thank you so much. This is very helpful.
You're very welcome!
Downloaded the template, thank you for sharing!
You're welcome!!
Hello, This is very helpful. I was just debating whether I wanted to print my articles since I like to make notes on paper also. I like how the matrix can be filtered to help with finding articles based on multiple options. Are you able to send the Excel file? I am in the prospectus phase of my program for higher education leadership.
Glad it was helpful! There is a link to the file in the description. And if it's any help ... I also printed my articles. It was easier for me to read them initially.
This was great thanks! Any idea how to delete highlights from Mendeley? Thanks!
Unfortunately, I'm not an advanced Mendeley user, so I don't have an answer for you.
As an undergrad student, this is really helpful. Thank you, Dr Clarke!
You're very welcome!
Thank you for this. I have been looking for something to help me with my Bible study/journal entries. Being able to go back and filter through using certain verses or key words was perfect 🙌🏽
Glad it was helpful!
Hi Dr Rebekah thank you very much for sharing these super helpful resources especially the phrasebook. You have earned a subscriber :)
Awesome, thank you!

You're so welcome! A link to the template is located in the description.
Passing your videos and those from Dr. Marquette to new learners. thank you so much!
That is awesome -- thanks!!
This was fantastic, I am using the apple notes app across my devices and made this a separate note, with a twist on the framework perhaps, and new "tags" as being an Excel power user love your filter as a tag analogy
Love it! Thank you for the kind words.
This is awesome, better use of my time vs my anal mindset and heavy use of Excel (and spelling skills). Love the correlation on the use of "tags" to mimic a filter area to quickly find those areas. I need more instruction on using Mendeley and also see that Zotero seems to be the better choice for API connectivity.
Awessome! Glad it was helpful!!
