I love this beautiful piece ! My friend (guitarist) and I (violinist) wanted to do a duet together for fun and we stumbled across this and loved it ! It's so expressive and romantic yet simple . Paganini wrote it for his girlfriend (a guitarist) so they could enjoy playing together :)

Well done! I'm a very amateur, at this stage only by ear! I do plan it to do it some time..if my neck an patience permit! I read you used a version for cello! Leonid Kogan plays this piece by tuning his violin 4 notes higher and his speed 4 times! So I need to memorize this piece! Watch my Phanthom of the Opera! I practice very ocassionally! Well done again!

yeah look in the petrucci music library at imslp.org. they have most of paganini's duets for violin and guitar there for free.
