I was gifted one of these for my 7th birthday and I was a little bummed he didn't have red on him. Looking back, I think this figure is cooler than the default.

This has a bit of a mistransformation that I also missed out on for years on my Thundercracker version of this mold The instructions tell you to rotate his thighs forward, which makes his legs look proportionally better while standing

I had this back in 2008 and spent ages trying to pull down his mask like in the movies, but to no avail Recently got myself a new copy of this mold after losing my old one with the Stealth repaint, and it's pretty much the one '07 figure that stands out from the rest of my collection in terms of its articulation And the blue on the stealth deco actually works really well to contrast the black and slight yellow

Great review. The 2007 Bumblebee molds are the only ones that get the shoulder wheel placement right, aren't they? Voyager 2007 Optimus is a great toy if only because of his holo-pilot gimmick, which represents an element that is super commonplace in Transformers fiction (and which we see happen in the film), but that is hardly ever present in the toys. The only other one that comes to mind is MP-11 and its repaints, which came with tiny holopilots, but those were static figurines. Optimus has a guy who straight up disappears when you open the driver's door.

This was an earlier model of starscream and it shows, he has a little bit of visible head syndrome, is a little squared off at the bottom and has visible shoulders, but over all still not too bad of a Job.

Interesting that the actual robot form looks a lot more like HOIST

I loved his robot mode but his alt mode was just atrocious and prevented me from picking him up as a kid in the 80’s.

G1 Laserbeak (along with Frenzy/Rumble…the blue one) were my first transformers back in 1984. The only surviving parts from that pack are laserbeak’s head and the guns with the barrels broken off.

I love transformers but hearing people call the paint job good is a kick in the teeth to anyone who's done even a mediocre job of painting warhammer. On the other hand G1 transformers bring a smile to my face🤗

I did the Reprolabel set on my reissues so I already know how that is. Actually for Hot Rod, the Reprolabels were an improvement, as the thigh stickers extended past the knee, so transforming him doesn't catch on the edge of the sticker like the stock ones did Interesting the Walmart reissue Laserbeak guns are so stubby compared to the Toys R Us reissue
