can you ubdervolt ?
hi @phazertech can you also share the iso file link for 10win 11 pro
You can download Windows straight from Microsoft's website: www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download
why you always update the methode ? whrere is the code of this video ?
Because AMD has changed the method multiple times. Here's the latest video I've done: ruclips.net/video/hBMvM9eQhPs/видео.html
dont use rescuezilla its unreliable. i used it to clone a dual boot ubuntu and windows 10 and it failed and also broke the original installations. someone else had a similar issue raised and the maintainer said it is could be a 'category 1 error'
Please provide a link of your claims.
Wonderful explanations, thanks | from Brazil.
bur where in the hell bottles drive directory is???? Please help.
I showed the Bottles directory location at 13:18. You can see drive_c which is exactly like a Windows file system.

As a new user who's currently in the process of switching to Linux, I can confirm that the Nvidia cards do NOT work "just fine."
Which distro did you try? I suggest trying Pop OS which comes with the Nvidia drivers preloaded. If you want the latest drivers then I suggest EndeavourOS but make sure to download the Nvidia ISO which has the driver preloaded. Most of the other distros require you to manually install the Nvidia drivers.
@PhazerTech I started with Debian, tried Arch, vanilla OS2, and finally settled on Linux mint Debian edition. I don't want to bother with any Ubuntu based distro TBH.
Honestly steam is easy with mint and varies for install anyway some games are more also might be my older former win10 laptop though. For me the biggest issues arise from GoG, bnet and even worse the EA launcher. bottles hates running them more than once (games are ok once installed) and that other popular one that starts with a l is its own lbs of pain.
CachyOS has worked well for me out of the box. Might be worth a spin if you haven't tried it.
"Nvidia GPUs will work just fine." W h a t
if i have windows os then it will also work on windows or i need to install ubuntu or linux? please guide from basic
CUDA and YOLO are compatible with Windows, so it should work but I haven't tested it myself since I don't use Windows much anymore.
If yall are using Windows11 use the python3 string and not the python.exe. Save yourself some time.
Thank you for this. Works really well with Python open source. But not all custom themes worked. Not sure why. But I found one that worked well - 3.5inch dark. One that did not work on my system was Mavtheme.
very thorough.
Thank you!
I'm currently testing Mint and it's awesome. The only thing I don't like is the old nvidia drivers. Is there a way to use the newest nvidia drivers with Mint or should I switch to another distro?
These are the latest drivers for Ubuntu based systems: launchpad.net/~graphics-drivers/+archive/ubuntu/ppa Scroll down to the "Adding this PPA to your system" section for the commands to install it, then reboot.
Very nice video.. i struggle how he chops up the words or kinda small pause between each word..
Consider Linux Mint, please if you are going to start with Linux. That has been my first Distro and it is a real smooth start in the Linux world. Easy and reliable. And the Gaming is as good as Ubuntu. Now I am on Manjaro. But I think I will try another Distro, in the Future.
i want a distro that uses low ram and also good for gaming.do ya guys have any recommends?
Would you say the software it comes with is safe? Once I saw it was from China I was worried about spyware and other nasty things..
Yes it appears to be safe. But if you prefer, you can also use the open source Python library. Installing it requires Python though, so I made a video guide showing how to do it: ruclips.net/video/NzN-tQ5lkYc/видео.html
Thats the wrong original trilogy. I have the "one last time" box set from right before they refilmed four five six
Just wanted to say thank you for adding this. I was completely stumped. I followed everything as it should be. My issue was that I downloaded Python from the developer site (3.13). Once I uninstalled that and downloaded from the Microsoft Store (3.12), your guide worked flawlessly!
Currently on windows but I’ve tried out a few distributions over the course of a few months and I think I’ve settled on endeavor as it’s a but easier than vanilla arch but it has latest packages along with the AUR which was a huge selling point for me as I use DaVinci Resolve and that was the easiest setup I’ve had. Also nvidia drivers were really simple to install compared to something like fedora.
I installed the same FX loop, and it works fine, but now my amp is slightly quieter. Have you experienced the same thing? Maybe because it is using the same B+ voltage?
There are two small trimpots you can use to adjust the send volume and receive volume. I'm not sure if they do anything when nothing is plugged into the loop, but it's worth a shot. It's been a while since I worked on this so I don't recall. Also since the loop uses transistors instead of tubes, it barely uses any power. It wouldn't be enough to drop the B+ voltage in any meaningful way.
Thank you! In my case it works as a parallel FX loop, so has the same volume even if nothing is plugged into it. It mixes the original preamp sound with the FX loop input. I tried to play with the trim pots, but they are having an effect only on the FX loop, the original preamp sound remains at the same level. Anyway, I like it this way, it preserves the original tone... I'm just wondering why I have the volume drop.
@@BorosCsongor Normally FX loops bypass the original signal if they have something plugged into them. If nothing is plugged in then they pass through the original signal. Did you install it in a KLD amp or a different one? Did you cut the signal trace on the front panel like I did?
I'm really looking for a guide to set up dietpi as a Desktop Environment while also having retropie installed. Also the desktop/LXQt didnt seem to pair with my Bluetooth devices/Keyboard and wanted to ask you about a hint how to solve that. Can you help me out? Nice video<3
Thanks! Here's a guide I found to install Retropie on DietPi: retropie.org.uk/forum/post/287132 Also did you enable bluetooth in diet-config?
Thanks. The tutorial was very clear and detailed. Much appreciated.
Do a cheaper version 🙏
Right now NewEgg has a bundle deal with the 5700x3D and motherboard for $330. Also comes with free 32GB RAM when you add the combo to your cart: www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails?ItemList=Combo.4730600 RX 7600 GPU: amzn.to/4fitEuO Pair that with the cooler, SSD, PSU, and case from my budget build. Total is about $800. You can save more by getting a cheaper case and PSU but I don't really recommend getting a low quality PSU. And of course, buying used parts is another way to save.
Thank you so much. You really helped me with this. I am so grateful
Why even buy a cpu for performance if you want to use at low power, that’s the same as buying a sports car and only ever using first gear or using it only in the city at low speeds. It’s just dumb. I am not saying you shouldn’t try using optimised settings for stability but if you’re so worried about degradation but you still change your cpu every few years what’s the point of doing all this bs to achieve 10 years on the cpu if you change it every few years…
Like I already said in the video, motherboards are pushing CPUs beyond their rated specs. PBO is already considered overclocking to begin with, and many motherboards are pushing this even further. Your car analogy is dumb because I'm not suggesting to gimp performance, I'm saying to make sure the CPU is running at its rated specs and stock PBO settings. The extra heat and power consumption isn't worth the minuscule improvement in performance of just a few percent. It's a serious case of diminishing returns. Also Intel's 13th and 14th gen were having similar issues and were degrading even faster, so this is becoming a serious issue in general. Not everyone upgrades their CPU every 2 years. CPUs are supposed to last longer than that.
I currently have a ryzen 7 5800x and an evga ultra 3070 should I upgrade? Want to use it to game stream and edit videos
The 3070 only has 8GB of VRAM which might be an issue for some new titles. I'd definitely upgrade that. For the CPU, you could get a 5700x3D which will give a nice boost in games and won't require a new motherboard, but it's already 2 generations old now so you might be better off getting the 9800x3D. It depends on your budget. Also if you do lots of video editing you might want to consider waiting for the 9950x3D which has 16 cores.
@ thinking of going with one of the amd bundles that micro center has rn but idk witch one is the best for the price
@@notniex Depends on your budget. If you want the best gaming performance then I'd get the 9800x3D bundle. If you also do lots of video editing then I'd go for the 7950x3D bundle or wait for the 9950x3D. If you don't do that much video editing then the 9800x3D is still completely fine for editing, it will be slower but still very capable. But if you're on a budget then personally I'd get the 7700X since it's the cheapest bundle that comes with 32GB RAM. That way you can upgrade to Zen 6 when it comes out in 2026 since it will be compatible with the current motherboards.
Adobe illustrator refuses to even install vis wine or in bottles
As i thought the same at the end of you'll suggest ubuntu for beginners
I love Linux but afraid from the online games but it works with me Easily, BTW I use fedora is better than mint if u use nivida driver
Lookup: curious what people think. "Fan Stacking Sorry folks - the truth is a lot harsher. Fan stacking can work, but only under certain conditions; if these conditions are not present, fan stacking can actually result in worse performance. Even if the necessary conditions are met, don’t think you can get twice the airflow - if you’re lucky, MAYBE an additional 20%."
I don't understand the split dual fan CPU cooler. Isn't one fan sufficient? Put one in the middle to suck air through one side and out the other?
Yes one fan is sufficient but two is slightly better. More airflow and more air pressure helps push out more heat from the radiator, but it only helps by about 2-3 C so it's a serious case of diminishing returns. The original Noctua NH-D15 only had one fan but now most dual tower coolers have 2 fans.
The premium build is around $4,500 in Australia - or rather, that's where I stopped, not even adding *all* components up. Just the major ones (CPU, GPU ,RAM, mobo, SSD) 😖 Thank you "Australia tax" and the exchange rate could be better.
Ouch yea that's pretty rough. I probably should have specified in the video these are USD prices. Sorry friends in other parts of the world where prices aren't so reasonable!
Thanks for the video. One thing I havent noticed anyone mentioning is the ntfs problem where Ubuntu based distros, such as Mint and Kubuntu, will not mount and read ntfs drives. It makes accessing your back-ups impossible till you have done a lot of reading and experimenting, its really annoying. I have yet to find a permanent fix, so I see a lot more research on the horizon if I want to keep using Kubuntu.
This article shows how to do it: phoenixnap.com/kb/mount-ntfs-linux But it's not recommended to use the same NTFS drive on both Linux and Windows because there might be permission issues, as far as I know. Also performance will be bad on Linux. If you want to use secondary drives on Linux you should format them with EXT4 or other Linux friendly file systems.
Great!!!!!!! thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!
You bet, enjoy the rest of the series!!
Thank you, My stoned ass needs this reminder every time I clone a drive lol IDK how, its literally in front of my face every time
Can I run LoL on this os?
Yes but you might need to install a special Proton version exclusively for LoL github.com/GloriousEggroll/wine-ge-custom/releases/tag/8.7-GE-1-LoL
I only use my laptop for games, office work, web browsing and the only other apps I use regularly are todoist and notion, wich i dont really care. I am only looking for validation at this point to swich to linux. I´m only worried because my laptop is the Asus Zephyrus G16, and I have no idea if the OS can manage the keyboard light and stuff, I actually don´t know if the same configs I can just "copy paste" to Linux.
There shouldn't be any issues controlling the keyboard lights, check out these apps: asus-linux.org/ However I'm not sure if you can use the same configs, you might need to create them from scratch.
I been trying to use bottles to install Residen evil 4 UHD and Project IGI in ubuntu. I am having issues whenever I select setup.exe it can't find other dependent files in the directory to install game. I don't know how to fix this issue
Flawless prints everytime? Hohoho, let me introduce you to my printers.
lol which printers do you have?
@ Ender 3 pro, got silicone spacers, cr touch, yet the z axis is nowhere near the bed / 0.00mm level. I took off the 0mm switch for that I think for when I was installing the spacers and now I have to figure this out after not being familiar for over half a year.
Does Melodyne work in a bottle?
Looks like it works pretty well. It has a gold or silver rating depending on the wine version: appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=40163
Will fortnight run ?
No, Fortnite uses incompatible anti-cheat and doesn't work on Linux.
I doubt any company has interrest of showing you degradation instead of just saying "hey more fasterer !". But i have been wondering that, same with X3D processors that seems to cause wild instability on some chips, feels like a silicon lottery especialy with the 3d's. Also not a fan of their 7th gen going "hey lets just see what happens until we hit 95°c that cant hurt right?" But i really hate AMD having the same old you have tinker with it to make it not suck, then again i dont like Intel just randomly stops functioning atm. while being not super cheap either. Atleast you no longer have to mess around with jumpers on the motherboard, i really dont miss those days.
I agree companies aren't taking this problem seriously and it's only getting worse, as we can see with the Intel 13th/14th gen fiasco recently. Like I said, I think it's becoming more difficult to get the same gains in performance each gen, so they need to push the chips harder in order to keep up the pace. It won't be good for consumers who like to keep their machines as long as possible before upgrading. But I will say, AMD appears to be taking a more conservative approach with Zen 5. For example, the 9700X launched with a lower TDP than the 7700X.
Does not install. At least current release is not usable.
Did you double check the requirements (disable secure boot, etc)
@PhazerTech The machine has Fedora workstation installed pretty fine before.
@@DasJott Some distros such as this one have specific requirements that others don't.
