DIY A 18-19v electric grinder to A a Li-ion battery rechargeable Wireless grinder. the electric grinder was disassembled and found that there was a place for the battery, so a 16340 lithium-ion battery was installed, using a three-part circuit of buck-charge-boost to realize 6-24v voltage input , Output 19v voltage to the motor, very portable.It is worth mentioning that the maximum output current of this boost circuit is relatively small, which limits the power of the electric grinder, so it is suitable for grinding, not for drilling. In the future, I may replace the boost circuit with a higher current one.

I would have taken the opportunity to whether proof it too. For instance. Clear acrylic nail vanish over the PCB to protect the naked soldered joints from corrosion. Silicon grease or petroleum jelly in the switch and on the battery terminals to ward off corrosion. Whether proofing is best done when new and before any such light is placed in the garden.
Here are some excellent suggestions. Enhancing the weather resistance of a product, when necessary, can help extend its usage period.
Somethings are just not worth the effort to repair. A £1 garden light is one of them.
