@@Victor_StudentOfFloppa No you're wrong lmao, why you would waste chances to hit his hp bar? the posture recovery speed is tied to the hp%, if you parry clear openings you're just dragging the fight. Also most bosses in this game move around the stage a lot and they recover posture when they do so.

whenever I fight with him, in one fell swoop he finishes me off if he breaks my posture, 18 of damage in NG9 XD

… wait, I think I get you. He’s easier cause after you get the bases of his moves. He’s pretty easy to parry. Just not consistently parry without doing his fight on a loop? Like his fight (in story) is more like a war of attrition where you have to shift from your mentality from fighting him right after genichiro?

@@destroyercreater98 I just beat the game yesterday and this is what got me, it took 2 tries for me to get his timing down in the first phase but the second phase made me look like I’d never played a game in my life with how awful I looked. Isshin did so many sweeps compared to thrusts for me that it was hard to get easy posture damage
