Common Grounds Collective serves to connect artists and creatives throughout the country in order to encourage growth and collaboration, and to offer a platform for showcasing their works. Through the creation of intimate events and workshops, we aim to create a grassroots environment encouraging artists to evolve the Irish Arts scene, intending to ignore no art form in our efforts to promote collaboration, exploration and growth of artists and creatives.
The first step is to encourage participation and collaboration of artists, musicians and performers within the country, to find and connect the studios, galleries, underground movements and to build upon them to create a new industry: we seek to bring to light the inherent value of arts and culture within Irish society and beyond.

Late reply but replying to say thanks. You got the lyrics pretty much spot on. As for the meaning it's mostly about losing your faith in God, while also letting go of a fantasy in your own life. Elizabeth is a cat that was scratching the door of my bedroom in the house I was staying in at the time.

This is one of the few songs I've heard that made me feel an entire palette of emotions. Songs like this have always intrigued me because they can tell as much story in one song as adele does in two albums. So much is condensed into one song, and yet it doesn't feel cluttered at all. Great job!
